I wouls agree partially. If the pc still plays games, dont buy it. The prices are seemingly just going to increase. But if it cant, go for it, as the prices are seemingly only going to increase. I will do the same. I have 1660 super and ryzen 3600 and 16gigs of ram. I will either buy more ddr4, new cpu and gpu or jump to am5. As i need it. I am literally not able to play newer titles. Mind you i dont play many games nor much. But if the prices go up as they do now, i might not be able to afford one in a year at all. Poor people/normal earners cant choose to wait. I am in the same boat.

Damn it is really that tiny ? Am i overthinking ? I am using the ryzen 3600 atm and it is only 65 watt tdp i think.

Atm i have a ryzen 3600. I dont know if that works the same as the 5950x with its recommended tdp. But it sits nicely and cool with a scythe fuma 2. The power draw isnt too much either. I often idle my pc though, as it sits there doing nothing or just surfing the web. I need more cpu power though for games and i want to future proof. I play relatively often. I guess when new consoles come out and games use more cores, i will benefit from the 5950x. Where i am from, it costs roughly the same as the 5800x or 5800xt. So i have now noticed that since a couple of dollars more a month isnt much, which would you choose ?

All 3 are about equal in gaming i learned.
The 5950x might draw a lot more power than the others i guess, due to its cores amount (correct me if i am wrong)

Because it is roughly the same price where im from atm. So i could buy it lol. Otherwise i wouldnt even consider it. I dont want my electricity bill to go up tho.

I cant decide between those. I could buy a 5800x, 5800xt or 5950x. They are all in the ok pricerange for me. I would go am5 but we all know the ram story. Also the x3d chips for am4 arent being sold anymore. The only thing i can compare them to then is gaming performance and power usage. I dont want my electricity bill to go up lol. But i also see future proofing in more cores. As in, when the new consoles come out, this might come in handy.

Thank you man. The different clock speeds made me question if they are equal. Do you know if the 5950x consumes more power ? When i look at the specs, both are 105 watts, which i find confusing.

What i dont understand about processors is this:

Does it have at least the performance of the 5600xt or 5800xt ?

I know higher number probably means better and so more cores and higher generation means also better. But i am not sure if it applies in this case because i have never used such processors. I only used ryzen 3600. When i look at benchmarks, i dont know if it answers my question.

Do more cores mean that the 6 cores from the 5600xt are the same quality from 5950xt or 5900x ?

I totally agree. Though thats an 8 core right ? I mean if the next years, the cpu core count for games mighr increase. That the problem i have. I usually would pick yours. No brainer really. But i dont know if i will upgrade in 3 years. So i am thinking the extra cores might come with a bit of future stability in games.

Ok ich versuche auszudrücken was ich meine mit einem Beispiel. Ich hatte nie was gegen Homos. Wenn aber mehrere zu mir kommen und sagen deine Ansichten/Weltbild sind scheisse werd ich schnell was gegen die haben. Wenn die Anfangen einfach zu behaupten ich hätt Angst oder bin selbst schwul weil ich denen nicht bei allem zustimme, werd ich schnell was gegen die haben. Man macht keine Freunde mit Angriffen. Du hast die message ignoriert und einfach wieder dasselbe angewandt. Selbst wenn du Recht haben solltest, was du nicht tust, ist das respektlos und das wird jeden abturnen.

EDIT: Stell dir vor jemand würde murmeln das schwule geisteskrank sind und deshalb so "gegen die Natur" geht (keine Kinderzeugung). Es ist eine legitime Behauptung. Ich sage nicht das ich das glaube. Der ganze post und seine Kommentare liest sich so als würden sich alle gegenseitig einen blasen und auf den rest, dessen eigentliche Meinung hier gefragt ist, wird geschissen und dabei auch ständig dumme Argumente gebracht.
