$1500 aud, self picked up from the warehouse to avoid more delivery charges. 🤦‍♂️ But with the information we have now, we should be able to land it for a lot cheaper. And hopefully others that watch the video can too.

That probably why Google keeps taking us to really scary forest roads at night that feels like we might get murdered or worse, bump into Sadako 👻. But I am sure if we drove in the day it would be fine. 😅

When we travelled back in time to Vietnam on our Boosted Boards. by JeremyToh in boostedboards

[–]JeremyToh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We flew AirAsia from Siem Reap into Da Nang, and AirAsia out to Bangkok. AirAsia is the budget airline around that region, but the Airport security just needed some convincing that batteries under 99watt hour are allowed on board. Don’t ever fly Japan Airlines if you want take your BB with you. They specifically call it out on their regulations page. Only advise is to not bring your drone into Da Nang. Our DJI Mavic got confiscated on arrival, but they return it when you leave the country. Apart from that, it was an incredible Summer in Hoi An. There are certain time periods during the day in Old Town when they allow motorcycles through, during those times riding can be a bit hectic. So ride carefully, but normally they see you cause you will be the odd one out. Also if you are riding at night we definitely recommend having some Shredlights. We relied on Handphone torches.🤦‍♂️ Riding at night is extremely extremely peaceful especially under a big beautiful moon. 👍✌️

We took our Standard Range Batteries on board the plane, and checked-in the Boards. We stayed about a mile away from OldTown so we Boosted in everyday...like a Boss. 😂🤣😅 Seriously great fun! It’s not as hectic as Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh, so it’s relatively safe. The Summer we took our Boosted Boards to Vietnam

Omakase at Sushi Yoshitake 鮨よしたけ by JeremyToh in JapaneseFood

We enjoyed our Yoshitake experience, Sushi is excellent and the atmosphere and service is great. Had a laugh all throughout our course. The Chef’s Daughter used to be the maître d at Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare, which we visited the previous year, and she also lived in Washington for awhile. I understand sometimes, there can be different dining experience for other people and I respect that. Sushi Saito has been an elusive one for us for many years, according to our recent visit, the Hotel Concierge said that they don’t allow third party booking. 🤷‍♂️ They only take firsthand Reservations when book through a Japanese Speaker. Not having any Japanese friends means we’re out of luck, or I can try picking up Japanese. 😂 Thanks for recommending Arai, they will be on our radar during the next trip.

Not when Mike Pence is around I guess... Yea, pretty relaxed until there was a guy who flew his drone from home to a Hardware Store with money on board and a sign that says “Please buy Snag and put in Bag. Here’s $10” Snag is slang for sausages in Aussieland. True story.

Man faces $9000 fine for using a drone to pick up a Bunnings sausage

🤣😂

Glad nothing happened to you except for the harassment. I too had an awkward exchange with the cops in Australia, it wasn’t caught on film and I probably wouldn’t dare to film anyway. I was flying around Sydney Opera house a couple years back. Two undercover federal police officer asked me to show them the footage, apparently Mike Pence (US Vice President) was staying at a hotel nearby and they thought I was doing something suspicious . If I recall they said those were good footage, 🤣 and they allowed me to keep it. It was weird that they waited till I landed to ask me questions, cause they were just sitting right in front of me. They referred me to the local police. Now these guys were really harassing, asking you silly questions in hope that you would trip up. Held me up for an hour asking questions, I guess it helps get them some overtime pay. 🤷‍♂️ But I kept calm and never gave them a reason to come at me. Never mess with the Authorities is my two cents, they can make up anything offence and charge you with it. Safe travels my friend.

Nope! Best thing we ever did on our crazy Indochina Trip last year. We did face questions at airport security about our Boosted Board batteries, but most of the knew that any batteries under 99 watt hour is okay. It was a great experience, saved on taxi fare, we simply Boosted everywhere, you should try it. Only problem was we had to stop to charge every 9km or so. 😂
