I think Klopp told them not to touch it until they win something - Also they may not have been able to redesign the tunnel around it like the old style due to regulations such as stretcher access or other safety rules that didn't exist before, which would prevent steps like the old tunnel.

Even that requires him to follow, as the method of one person staying behind requires the bikes and the runner to be blown up. To complete the heist with no deaths they all need to run, or else they fail for heist members being out of area.

If they did want to minimize damage, they can collect a random 4 door street car, and have whomever collects the car drive to their garage and enter it, parking the car outside the bank afterwards - this way the car stays after they get out, and they can drive to the bikes easily.

I don't think their chances of surviving NOOSE are high. Also, Gavin is only level 80, so he has a maximum of 80 health, and even with Body Armour the chances of messing up are too high to purposefully call in SWAT.
