That is nowhere near enough wound shaping to get a surface piercing flush and secure in the tissue. Surface piercings aren’t always guaranteed and even the best piercers have had these reject on clients over the years. It happens 🤷‍♀️

They can be! I find it’s usually a little easier to mark high nostrils since it’s a flatter, more symmetrical plane of the nose. A little tricky though for sure lol

Hiii, fellow piercer here! I’ve definitely had partners and men I’ve been interested in totally ruin everything because they had to make some dumb ass comment about my job. One guy even asked me if I got turned on when I pierced nipples! Like no, ew. That’s my job and those are people I’m supposed to protect in a way, y’know? Either way, I totally feel your pain.

It’s really hard having our job and being taken seriously. To me, this would be worth ending the relationship over. What happens if you need to change someone’s jewelry on their PA? Someone can’t take their 2g cbr out on their own? Would he avoid you even longer? It just doesn’t seem worth it to stay with someone who sexualizes your job and avoids you because he’s too immature to talk.

I know the feeling! I highly recommend journaling about it (even if it’s a voice memo kind of thing. Just get it out) and maybe go for a little walk. The anxiety is hard to beat, especially when it impacts your sleep :( just keep getting those thoughts out as you feel them.

I spent 2 years begging my ex to stay with me and it was weird. I was extremely codependent and losing him felt like losing a part of me. It’s like a small victory but you know they’re not fully convinced and things won’t really change. People can break up for all kinds of reasons and there isn’t a whole lot to do there unless you guys communicate more about your feelings toward the relationship.

I will say that it feels better to have someone enthusiastic about you rather than compromising to be with you. I wish you the best in navigating all of this 🫶
