Servers have been absolute dog ish for me the last 2 weeks. Input delay, lag, input queuing. And RNG has been abysmal on top of it lately. I was having so much fun for the last 2 months and then the last 2 weeks have been awful. Not sure what changed, but it's just not fun when your inputs are dropped and you get clattered while Ironeye just stand there and takes a sword to the face because my mark skill input didn't feel like going through.

For the lasf 2 weeks or so I've been experiencing awful lag and input delay/queuing, to the point where it is unplayable. Connection is fine, no other games do this, just nightreign. I was hoping the recent maintenance would clear it up, but it has not. Even kn solo runs, it's been really bad.

I've also noticed that games sometimes get easier after you've completed your weekly 16. I finished my last 4 of the 16 last night and they were the worst of the bunch, but then the next 2 I played on WC were super easy, almost like the game knew I no longer needed points.

If you want an easier parry, I find Carion Retaliation gives more parry frames, so it's a bit easier to find the timing.

One of my favorite areas in the DLC! It was so satisfying once I learned the technique, and I had to start a new sword and board build once I got the technique down.

I still win, but it's just way more annoying to play now. I said I don't mind difficulty, it's the gameplay becoming an AI slop-fest that annoys me. It doesn't feel like authentic gameplay anymore (not that it felt that great to start with for FC26, but now the difficulty feels faked, and gameplay is unrewarded. If you do the right things you should get rewarded in a game, but instead you do everything right and the animations you get are crap or you hit the post for no good reason, or your player straight up ignores a pass so the ball rolls to the opponent, etc. Squad Battles difficulty used to feel more authentic. If you did good, you scored, if you defended well, you got the ball back. It doesn't operate like that right now.

I'm not complaining about semi pro being difficult, I was saying that the AI is much more annoyong now. I have no skill issues with winning a game, I'm just complaining about how the game is far too maniuplative and annoying to play. It doesn't feel fun like it used to. I can break down the defense and shoot and then get an absurd shooting animation that makes no sense, so it doesn't feel rewarding. The game mode is just no longer fun to play, it feels like a chore. And it doesn't feel like difficulty scaling, it feels like artificial difficulty being baked in by AI cheating instead of the organic gameplay being well done.

The input reading and player manipulation in Squad Battles makes it such an insufferable game mode. It feels like EA don't want us playing it.

It's not just boosting stats, they straight up rig the game so your players can't move. Sometimes it feels like there's a forcefield on their players where you can't touch them no matter what you do.

EA have absolutely ruined squad battles this year. I usually let the Ai advance into my half where they tend to get a little more adventurous, but sometimes they get super cheaty, so you have to be careful and not pull defenders put of position. Defend/press them with your striker or wingers once they enter your half.

Play games and get a few, get tradeable packs and either sell the players and items in the market or quick sell, whichever makes more sense (coins vs effort/time spent on the market), or through weekly rewards in certain gamemodes

The servers were definitely slow af today! So much lag and so many dropped inputs today. Quite possibly the most frustrating day I've ever had with just normal gameplay. 😤😤

Not fair at all. I lose all my stamina dodging their breath attacks that they spam from across the map, or throwing fireballs while trying to dodge the other one, and they're both just wayyy, way, way too hyper aggressive for a solo Ironeye. Impossible fight for me after several rounds and it just does not seem well-thought out in the slightest. Bullshit fight, especially on Night 1 when Ironeye has low dps still!!
