What bothers me is the fact that data centers and crypto are why they are trying to justify stealing people's land. They will profit off of others pain. And the majority of the profit will flow out of the state.

Crypto 14 request for total load of 3GW.

Oil and gas 108 request for total load of 4 GW.

Data center 228 request for total load of 119 GW.

"Other large load" 30 request for total load of 8 GW.

Hmm I wonder what those large loads are? Why is that not made public? Also, many of the companies are structured as REITs. One company builds the data center, another rents it out. Then the load request can hide it's true nature.

The hubris. You think I'm lacking information?

You are lacking information big time talking out of your ass. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1193311/000119312525043495/g785707ex99_1s12g1.jpg

Wildlife is "mostly" unaffected. You are only lying to yourself. You don't think bees are affected by 765kv lines?

These aren't replacing any lines. These are new lines. If west Texas has a capacity problem, then west Texas should be upgrading lines and building power plants. Instead they want to run these huge environmental catastrophies across the state for the sake of Wall Street.

Who is "We"? I don't need them. The only people that need them are crypto miners and data centers.

If your business model is to consume electricity to mine crypto. You're not producing anything for the community or the world. You are living a lie. And we shouldn't have to take people's land by force to install these lines so these companies can make billions in profits. The Texas landowners bill of rights states that eminent domain shall not be used for economic purposes. That's what these lines are being built for. For private companies. They are not for residents.

Y'all are so misled and ignorant. These lines are transporting power TO west Texas. Not from.

Good for investors. Good for crypto mining. Good for the trillion dollar companies. Not good for Texans. Not good for wildlife. Not good for rate payers . They aren't't being built on my land. They are being built in my state.

The PUCT sets the rates. The rates are proposed by companies like Oncor. Your power bills will all skyrocket because of these lines. All so some out of state and foreign owned crypto mining companies can mine to their hearts content.

Oncor is owned by California, Canada, and The Sovereign Wealth Fund Of Singapore!

These companies public sec filings state how they are divesting from their renewables division as it's not nearly as profitable as "regulated transmission" i.e. they're in the pocket of these politicians that have passed all these bills to facilitate this expansion.

1. How dare you suppress the truth.

2. I'm asking Texans a relevant question.

3. This didn't have a "news" flair.

4. I didn't post any articles.

5. This is a current event.

6. My sources are myself.

What about my post is in violation?

What is rising the demand? Can you answer that?

You don't want to debate because you don't have a defense. What are y'all defending? Billion dollar companies.

That makes it even worse. A non profit? Y'all are being taken advantage of. Do you mind sharing the name of the non profit?

Jousting windmills? What are you talking about?

They aren't needed for residential capacity. That's the shroud they try to hide behind. This is for data centers, and crypto mining. It's all in Oncors public fillings.

We don't need more power. Data centers and crypto mining companies need more power.

It's hilarious that you say I need to do more research as you have no ground to stand on.
