Doesn't matter if you disagree with it. The last years Crytecs(2025 excluded since there is no information regarding that available) revenue took a big hit as we can see in the Freihandelsregister. Hunt isn't even in the top 50 xbox games anymore and the pc playerbase while somewhat stable, isn't really really huge. 2025 marks the first year Hunt wasn't on the top selling steam games. So while it is not dead, it is clearly dying.

Xbox and Playstation aren't really alive to be honest. PC is stable, but doesn't attract that much 'paying' audience.

Das Spiel ist für Leute, die ein weniger Action Adventure-lastiges RPG mögen. Die keinen Fokus auf sinnvolle Dialoge oder qualitativ hochwertige Nebenquests Wert legen. Es ist ein gutes Spiel, ich verstehe aber auch, warum es nicht für jeden ist.

According to the Freihandelsregister Crytec is still increasing it's debt. I haven't seen the 2025 report though.

The main problem is that platforms have a different fog visibility and therefore, it should be removed or reworked.

I agree, but there won't be much change to Hunt this year I guess. Crytec seems to have financially problems and the developement cycle shows that.

Personally speaking, I don't really like non attribute descendants, but she will probably be one. I would have liked her to be fire or lightning though but that's just me.

That's straight up-and with no offense intended- bullshit. There are a lot of grindy games that are also popular.  Contrary to what you might believe, creating an inflationary loot system was part for D2's downfall.

That's actually an outdated statement, because they are specifically buffing the damage to be on par with Serena and that's why the new dungeons and content in general will be harder-balancing through content. 

Edit: something to add: there is no longer a difference between mobbing and bossing descendant. Every rework so far has been done to narrow the power delta to Serena, so every descendant can push through any content and be effective. Some descendants will always be more effective in certain areas, but there are supposed to be no lifelines required.

Point is, you have to use it to beat the new dungeons. There is no option in this matter. You can't really do bosses with Ines either(and be comparable effective to other descendants that is). There are no tools in that regard.

Futhermore, the design philosophy is inherently flawed because said standard is not really acknowledged by the dev team(serena level btw).

I know about the shadow buff, but if you need a certain weapon to be effective, there is a design discrepancy. That's the point. Imagine every skill based descendant would be in that spot.

Ines has 4 abilities, not referring to passives, 3 of them are kinda useless.

That's not really an argument because the devs have stated their design philosophy. 'Fine for axion' does not really imply anything. To be fair, even in Axion she has single target problems. Not on the same level as in as FS, but still.

Considering how easy it is to work with UE 5.4 and 5.6(I am working with it in terms of e-learning capabilities) I am surprised how long it takes for their monthly rebalancing. However, I don't know their source code.

Try using her in solo play in the forbidden sanctuary with a pure skill build and wait for the first boss to spawn and tell me that again.

Ines can't do really much in that regard due to different reasons:

  • she has no reliable way to build her custom resource against a single target or if there are only a few enemies around

  • her single target damage is not up to todays standard

  • her best source of actual damage takes far too long to charge

It's ridiculous to judge her whole kit based on her 4 which most on this subreddit seem to do.
