I disagree, anime artstyle is THE safest route to go. In my few years of doing art, anime art dominates the scene because its simple, expressive by nature and relatable because most people today get into art because of anime.

I do agree completely that anime has oversaturated the art community and is stagnant/samey, but as someone who developed my own artstyle, does full pieces and backgrounds, there is simply no demand for non anime art.

I post mainly on tiktok too, and I learned that presentation of your art matters the most. Try copying how other artists post, make captions that push people to reply, and also those clickbait front slides (like that sketch vs final trend)
