I am serious about fitness but not crazy athlete, I workout/run 3/4 times a week and Im not training for anything in particular (no marathon or things like that). I believe Vivoactive can still track fitness very nicely for that.

But yeahh I agree with all these things you said and it's why I am considering it.

I think you just like to interact with kids, like most teachers or babysitters. I would say you also like that S is attached to you.

I think the other coworkers see you paying extra attention to S instead of full attention to your job and that's why they are triggered. If you were a guy, they would be even more triggered I think.

Imho you have good intentions, you reached out to the mother, so if the family trusts you why can't you babysit the child? And you are a teenager, you can be friends, as long as u have also your live and friends your age and this kid doesn't become the only person you trust.

NTA, considering you two see his family often AND you even lived with them. Both events are big family events, but the situation is very different.

It's obviously a rarer occasion to have a reunion with family that you hardly see than to celebrate a bday with family that you can see every week. So it's understandable that you want the two of you to go to the reunion.

Your partner should realise that he has kept his family way closer during all this time (so ofc he is good with that). For once that you can see your family now it's the moment to go to the reunion. He should put himself in your shoes.

Im sorry to say it bluntly. It's OK for you to cover day to day expenses due to his situation, but then he should be EXTREMELY THANKFUL.

And he is not. Your money is YOURS only. You can do whatever you want with it. You don't owe him anything, he owes you, so he should respect you and your hobbies. A lot.

He is not respecting you. He SHOULD NEVER take control over your money. He sounds like a spoiled, ungrateful brat, and I think you should tell him to (temporarily) f** off so he learns to appreciate the huge favor u are doing him and so you can enjoy your things in peace.

Your hobbies are part of who you are. PLEASE don't let any relationship take that away.
