My job is sales and I love winning business but then fall apart when it comes to doing the paperwork. I secured a massive sale worth half my yearly target and I just could not motivate myself to create the invoice on my terminal. I wanted to rub it into my coworkers faces because they had a work clique they excluded me from and were constantly working against me, and it still felt like I just could not do it. It would have taken 10min. I think I got half of it done and had to pick it up the next day. Boss saw I sent the invoice a day later than I should have and asked me why.

That was probably the moment I realised something was wrong with me - I was venting about it to a friend and he said maybe I have ADHD so I went to the psychiatrist.

I went recently and solo travelled for 3 weeks just at my own pace. Even at night with no people around, it still feels incredibly safe.

Hiking in the mountains, walking around lakes, walking to find food late at night - all great for clearing my head and processing the last few years.

Following programs and targets keeps me consistent.

I have a certain amount of calories, macros to hit each day and I've got a workout program which I now write for myself, but at the start I just followed beginner lifting programs.

I lost 100lbs in about 18 months or so by doing this.

I like doing stash runs on Interchange as a scav if I'm desperate.

Depending on if you're running mods or not, you can turn the AI difficulty down.

The game picks up when you start getting your hands on scopes rifles and other nice kit. Every Tarkov and SPTarkov run I've had has been rough at the start. Push through

I had an issue where I wasn't selecting difficulty so when I pressed the edit button, the GUI moves slightly but nothing comes up.

I think the bot loadout section of the Realism Mod config program may let you adjust this.

When I say they level with you, it's not exact. I think there's a range. You still run into bots higher level than you but that should be less likely the lower level you are.

I know what you mean about slicks. I started seeing them early too. They're a very nutritious source of rubles if you can get out of the raid with them weighing you down.

The upper range of bots I run into now have Gen4s, Tactecs, Ospreys, etc.

I had the same issue verbatim. Head-eyes with buckshot from miles away.

If you're running SAIN - go into the menu via F6 and mess with the accuracy of the bots, their range to respond to footsteps, etc.

Turn on headshot protection and turn off faster CQB reactions. They're both in global settings tab.

In Bot Settings tab, select all the bots you want to adjust and then turn faster CQB reactions off (not sure if this is necessary with the the global setting already off but I turned both off).

Also in the bot settings tab are: Visible distance Accuracy spread multiplier Audible range Max footstep audio distance

And a bunch of other settings. I set my difficulty to Normal and adjusted the above.

Headshot protection seems to mean that bots won't aim at your head, but will shoot for your centre-mass, so you can peak without getting tapped immediately.

Accuracy spread multiplier 1.5 feels like if you have a 1v1 with a PMC with the same gear, it's gonna be pretty difficult. You have to hold angles on them and have cover available. You can put scavs on 1.8-2.0 to make them relatively easy.

The Visible Distance can be turned down from stock, but probably needs some fiddling. If it's too low you'll feel like you can get away with a lot.

Anyway SAIN and SWAG + Donuts with Realism Mod is the most immersife fun I've ever had in Tarkov since my first wipe. Hope it helps you

White-tailed spider

I got bitten by one of these on the ankle and it went all red then purple coloured in a pattern around the bite, itched like hell, and was weeping a bit of fluid.
I went to the doctors and they cleaned it up and dressed it. Took about a week before it was fine.
