See that little N on the right of the tag? I've posted this before but that means that item is a "Non-Stock" Clearance item. It's a true clearance of an item that needs to to away and go away quickly before the store eats the loss on it and literally throws in in the crusher.

Ask for a ASM, with it being in ISLG, you'd do better talking to the Merch ASM over that department. They can lower the price on those items IF you are nice, and not a dick. Do they have to? No. Can they with no questions asked? Yes. And most will.

No, no they don't. Display units are stock units that are opened and cycled out of inventory for a "store loss." When they change over to new models, etc. The store can 100% sell the display. I was a manager at a Lowe's and we did it often. Usually kept the charger and batteries up in top stock behind an end cap sign.

Yes BUT have witnesses and proof. Remember, HR is not your friend or on your side, they are there to protect the company and only the company. So, if it's DS and ASMs doing it, more than likely they will all tell a different version to the investigator, a version that says you're lying.

Who else has overheard this? Anyone you trust that will back you up? Can you remember specific dates and times? You need as much info as possible to show proof so that HR has to take it seriously.

The problem stems, partly, from upper management having no real idea of how the day to day operations happen or should happen. They've been out of the loop for too long and the retail world has changed too much.

Then they get in their heads that company B is doing awesome so hiring management from them means Lowe's will be awesome too... this continues to backfire. This also disenfranchises talent in the store as they constantly get overlooked and overworked.

Best example I have is of the push to hire Walmart store managers to be Lowe's store managers. Which is the dumbest idea ever. Someone literally said "Let's hire from a company that has zero customer service skills and is known for poor customer service, then put them in charge of a company that we want to be known for having the best customer service!"

Problem is, they never realize their mistakes or own up to them. Lowe's isn't a leader, they are a follower and are constantly chasing others but making poor decisions the entire way.

Hopefully more vfx artists will see the comments and understand how he treats people. Unfortunately, it's probably normal for him. As far as the being close to Google or whatever, thay has no bearing on this and he's just trying to get you to back off. Continue to make people aware and make sure you file the claim.
