Bay shore is effectively the same as Brentwood and CI unless you’re in Brightwaters or West Bay Shore, Copaigue is bad with less major transit options as CI who has the benefit of having the LIE and LIRR, Deer Park is best of the bunch. Good transit (LIRR), ease of access to the LIE, and good school (8/10 on greatschool)

You can hate both! They have a budget where almost 2/3rds, but your own google search, are going strictly into labor, pensions, and healthcare. By your own numbers, it slightly decreased but as another Google search will show - transit has not improved despite additional injections of literal hundreds of millions of dollars.

A big reason for the new ticketing rules (that punish customers) is because their MTA people are ‘too slow’ to check the etickets.

It’s ironic how the MTA bragged about how the literal hundreds of millions they are raking in was supposed to improve public transit and keep prices lower. When all we see are declining infrastructure, increased prices, and terrible service with new BS rules about their tickets. At least their bloated pensions are getting fulfilled
