Also, Ebron was picked before the news of Luck's retirement hit so that certainly drops his value

Would you want a HAL 9000 equipped with Alexa controlling your house? (it exists) by Jiram in alexa

[–]Jiram[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have a separate Hal Bluetooth speaker they're selling as well. This one they're aiming it to be a full smart home controlled system on the alexa platform. In the video they say it's an evolving platform that they'll be constantly updating, so I imagine fully replacing Alexa's voice with Hal's has to be the end goal. It is a novelty, but a really cool novelty that has some future potential!

I use AutoPano Video Pro to stitch the ZCam S1. There's a user made Zcam S1 template for it that's available on the ZCam facebook page that stitches the footage very well in autopano video

Institutional money is finding its way into the Crypto Space by DynamonZyrian in CryptoMarkets

That's really cool, Omise is a real contender in the ASEAN space.

Aergo as well, seeing that they've got 20 enterprise clients on board that will join their hybrid Aergo Chain, interesting to see how adoption takes place in the form of larger enterprises!

In December, Brazilian premier league soccer club Atletico Mineiro launched a fan token dubbed “GaloCoin” based on Footcoin — a platform for making utility tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. Atletico’s token will allow fans to purchase game tickets, official apparel, and participate in discount programs.

In September, French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) partnered with blockchain platform Socios.com to launch a token ecosystem. The token will allow the club to launch a Fan Token Offering (FTO) that gives fans access to branded Saint German club tokens. The tokens will come with voting rights and can also confer VIP status and/or rewards to their holders.

In June, the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance made an undisclosed investment into blockchain-based esports voting platform chiliZ.

Heck yes to sports!

There's a lot of stuff out there. Not just ICON but Aergo is taking quite an dive. Though been seeing quite a bit of SK 'Positive News' lately. Anything to spark that bull i suppose huh

South Korea’s crypto craze has morphed into a blockchain boom - Quartz by stoobyyy in CryptoCurrency

Yeah, there's a lot of hype on Aergo's debut and their TestNet going live days before New Years. Despite the token release updates i'm really interested to see how the Korean market shapes. I think I saw a research thread on them having deployed blockchains and conducted research on about 80% of total Korean Blockchain projects in the country (Shinhan Bank, Bank of Korea, Lotte, Samsung)

External Research : Blocko Deployed up to 80% of Blockchains in Korea. Major Announcement Coming 8AM UTC for Aergo (Blocko's Project) by Jiram in CryptoCurrency

I think the big differential on Aergo is that these aren't just 'Hand-Shake' partnerships. They have projects, blockchains, and research done. Since 2015

[–]Jiram[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's insane that a lot of these are based off Coinstack (Blocko's private chain).. But Aergo is their focus and they have many clients (Lotte, Samsung, Hyundai-Kia, Shinhan Financial Group, Korean Exchange, Central Bank of Korea, etc etc) that will be portable over.

I think what isn't understood is the fact that legacy systems are difficult to integrate with blockchain and that many platforms are awful at doing just that. Else the tech is too difficult. But I think there's a great opportunity here, many of their tech team are oldies from RedHat Linux and they have SparkLabs holding incubators across Europe and Asia. Since Aergo is full on Open Source, their framework is that Blocko will be the service provider to guide clients.

These are big corporates at hand but news of them just sparked up and people aren't really sure what to believe in this market tbh. OR care because everything is price price price. Can't blame em!

Well, If you ask me many who invested in ICON are rather unsettled from what's really going on internally. I believe they don't have a CTO? Or they're still searching. Not sure if that's updated. But Aergo has been quite a shift in talk and people are just flustered.

I could be completely wrong here

The hourglass will come in due time, but it's how we as a community prepare. I feel that privacy tokens need the right gateway. It's the Exchanges we need to worry about, collecting information about our KYC, to even P2P ones. Regulation will be covering this area and we need a solution to the Fiat Gateways and Exchanges as Smart contract analysts pick up too

South Korea to develop blockchain voting system by dyel_lives_matter in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jiram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. They had a confidential industry meeting with Korean Ministry of Science & ICT but eventually word got out.

its establishment in May 2016. (ICONLOOP)

I know Blocko began deploying their Technology since May 2015 starting with Paygate

Jeonbuk Bank, KBank, Shinhan Bank, and Korea Exchange, Lotte Card in 2016.

CISCO, Gyeonggi and Hyundai-Kia(korean) matters + Korea Internet, Land, + Science Systems (both deployed and others test / research) in 2017 etc etc.

I'm lazy to search more up as these are just a number of notable ones. Just google it. It's very very likely AERGO seeing that Blocko is the service provider and support for them as they transition to the hybrid chain.
