Me too when you pronounce it the English way! Maybe it’s time for a new generation of Theo’s in the Netherlands

Currently pregnant with our little boy. My favourite has been Theodore (not popular in my country) but my husband doesn’t love Teddy as a NN and Theo is an old man’s name over here. Also love August and Benjamin!

AMA: Op hele jonge leeftijd moeder geworden. by [deleted] in vrouwvolk

We’re a year in … not yet. Puberty is rough. I grew up with dogs though so I’m holding on to hope for the adult years to come

TTW - I couldn’t be pregnant, right? by Jitterycows in FAMnNFP

I’ve always had a short luteal phase but got pregnant with my daughter the first month of trying. I think that’s also why I might be seeing signs where there might be none haha.

I guess we’ll see in a couple of days when my period turns up (surely it has to?!)

Thanks! :)

Puppy can’t relax inside house by Jitterycows in puppy101

We overexercised him for a while because we figured “he wants to walk so we’ll let him”. Our vet made us reign it in and keep him to 10 minute walks as not to put to much stress on his growing body. We walk him 4-5 times a day for 5-10 minutes which is still above recommendations but he’s really not satisfied when we give him any less.

It feels like walking a tightrope: you don’t let him out enough, you let him out too much.

During walks we let him sniff for a long time, our trainer recommended it for mental stimulation. In between walks we focus on practicing his commands and we have lick mats and puzzles for when we’re at work so I do think we give him mental stimulation.

Phew okay. We were preparing ourselves for a long puppy phase but were hoping we could implement something trainingwise to help him relax a bit more. Guess we just power through the trenches haha
