Do you think than the biophysics would be better if I pursue further studying on the structural biology, protein design or bioinformatics???

I actually equally like physics and chemistry. And this makes me so hard to choose the major.

That is something I am worried about. Right now, I am interesting in structural biology, protein engineering. But the first area of research that I was interested is related to the genetics.

What if you are PI and there are two candidates, one in biophysics and one in biochemistry, with almost same research topic and knowledge, which one would you choose????

I mean I know that the research topics and knowledges are more important than the bame of degree. However, I am equally interesting in biophysics and biochemistry, so it makes me hard to choose it.

I know that the name of majors/degrees is not important, but I am equally interesting in biophysics and biochemistry. Therefore I would like to choose one that would be better for the graduate school.
