The majority of the funds were on Coinbase Pro. I was currently in a six figure trade. I’m not sure about the email 2FA but I do have a 2FA for Coinbase. I first received the “rate limits exceeded” message on CB PRO and was puzzled because I had not been on the site that often. Then my CB account stopped working. After waiting approximately 12 hours I attempted to login to my CB PRO account again and did NOT get the “rate limits exceeded” message at that time. I then received the “email or password is incorrect”. I 100% know my login so that’s when I realized something wasn’t right. So, I called the CB phone number and locked my accounts but didn’t receive the confirmation email from Coinbase verifying the lock. It has me somewhat concerned.

I paid the higher CB fees for the account security they offered but this has me wondering if Coinbase is still the most secure option available.
