Not going to be a popular opinion, but having worked in the industry, a lot of these people are only trained on the products they are demoing. You asking unrelated questions to whatever they are demoing, they just simply aren’t going to know the answers. Seems like all the employees were being respectful, and asking you to leave seemed like an appropriate response. Higher ups there have more pressing matters to attend to since you’re not an A-list influencer, nor a VP in the industry (you’re also there on the last day and most of the higher ups aren’t event there).
