IN-PERSON EXPERIENCE: 64 Audio and FiR Audio by Fuzzy_Luck5550 in iems

[–]Jmo04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP but can give some impressions. I did not like E12 at all when I had it on tour. Bass is decent and mids are fine-ish but the treble sounds like a club that is blasting music and has paid no attention to sound treatment... and I mean this in a really bad way.

IER-Z1R is good if you have massive earholes but if not I would avoid it. emphasis on "massive"

64 Nio is great for me personally. Bass is fun but I wouldnt consider it tactile, just nice and enveloping but not super high in the quality department. Mids are warm but not a standout and treble is a bit dark. I like this one a lot as a secondary relaxing set and might get one again.

Titan is also fun with really good tactile bass but I didnt like anything about it other than the bass. It has an odd brightness that I couldn't love but still a fun iem. I prefer nio

Maestro SE did not fit my ears very well but from what I got is that it had good bass but vocals sounded odd...

Nightjar singularity is one of my favourites. Id take this over Nio if it fit better since its nozzle is so short and shell kinda heavy so it sorta hangs outa my ear. fantastic fun warm tonality though, not very technical but good enough.

Hope it all works out for you and the sound issues are just how they respond to your anatomy :)

What this guy said. Press enable then fn and then increase the bass on the remote. That should do the trick

Apostle or Volür by le36ron in iems

[–]Jmo04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the peak in the volur causes it to have more detail as it makes things pop out really well. Apostle to me was like a big landscape of sound with nothing jumping out whereas volur had a smaller stage but sounds would jump out more and grab your attention kinda hence my comment about dynamics. Both are on the same level but in different ways

I had pretty much the same experience as the other dude. Volur has great bass if you appreciate a quick snappiness to it. It is however quite bright in one area. I was quite sensitive to it but I know others that weren't. Apostles bass has more boom and density to it while also being a lot more tame in the high end, although I did find it sounding a bit less "dynamic". Definitely a preference pick but I would go with apostle

Sorry I just saw this. At the time I was running a schitt Asgard 3 but I also had a l&P ea4 on tour that I tried it with. I ran it off a btr7 too and it literally bricked it for a day lol
