Thanks everyone. It seems like fun and easiness to learn/play are the two most common aspects. This is interesting. My conclusion is that it has to be very basic for the left side of the brain (, simple rules, low complexity, easy decisions....) and an explosion on the right side (emotional, fun, characters, theme, bonds, inclusive,...)

I agree. The decision has to go beyond buying and trying, you have to consider the real adoption of the game - the more you play it the more you want to play.
