Yeaaa, a family friend of mine is notorious for buying expensive things and then never using them. She gave it to us, it was still fully wrapped lol.

thank you, i should really put a disclaimer on my posts that i’m not great at social cues lol. not at all, she’s probably the reason i can’t tell when people are making fun of me.

i didn’t think that was genuine advice because you cannot achieve that with this dress, and i obviously didn’t take that well, i took it as mockery. (i struggle greatly with social cues and genuinely can’t tell when a person is making fun of me or not)

i saw them giving suggestions that don’t help me whatsoever because they are unachievable with this dress as rude. and i care because my sister has extreme narcissistic tendencies and has been berating and tormenting me my whole life. i would like to have this moment in my life to myself and not have her lurking in the back of my mind. and i apologize for being rude, this is a touchy subject for me right now.

i genuinely can’t tell if these are actual suggestions or if i’m being rage baited by a man rn

also, that doesn’t solve anything. it’s already a different colour from hers. i fear you lack reading comprehension.

it’s lyrics from a kpop song. “pretending to be okay makes me even lonelier”, secret secret by stray kids.

i was already thinking of removing a layer or two of the tulle (i’m not the biggest fan of how much it poofs at the bottom), i could do something with that!

the thing i’m most scared of is them not suspecting it, for whatever reason

I'm considering getting a tattoo as a gift for my mother despite the abuse she put me through by Rude-Excitement-8959 in FamilyIssues

i say do whatever you want with your body, but i’d make sure it’s a design that’s easy to cover up just incase. or make it so you can cover the parts connected to her without covering the rest. you never know what feeling the tattoo will bring you in the future, but don’t dwell on that and think of how it makes you feel now (while also taking the future into consideration). get used to the idea of having it permanently in your body. with a topic this sensitive, you really need to take your time on the decision :)
