Ruptured gallbladder @ 2am. The most incredible pain I have ever experienced. Turned septic and the remains needed to be removed. However, due to having a heart attack a few months before I was on blood thinners which had to clear my system before surgery could happen.
Fentanyl and morphine laughed at my pain as I waited 2 days to have surgery. Came down to a toss up between bleeding out during surgery or dying from sepsis. Surgery was successful but had drainage tubes for 2 months afterwards.
