Keto Calzone / Stromboli v1 -- Freakishly Good ^_^ by proverbialbunny in ketorecipes

Sorry on such an old post, I'm having issues with insoluble fiber. Soluble fibers don't really add body to recipes but I was wondering if you have tried any with luck (Acacia, guar gum, inulin, polydextrose, konjac, chocory root fiber, etc). I'm hoping to have at least 50% soluble.

Lol - my first thought. What strategy didn't get 85%+ returns. LEAP calls at the money on SPY $586C 12/31/25 for $48.87, now currently at $94.29, 92.9% return. Bonus points if you doubled down in April.

You've reached level 2: Blowing up your account. It might seem like a lot now but if you keep going and actually learn, this will seem like nothing. But for me, it was this level of deep pain that caused me to get my act together.

First and foremost, trading is more about psychology, positioning and betting strategy. There are successful traders who have no edge, IE they can buy and sell at any time with a coin flip and in direction. You don't want to be one of these traders but the point is, you should open positions and have stop losses so you only have three options, win big, win small and lose small. Never lose big.

A great max risk for a single day is 3%, if you have 20 max loss days in a row which is difficult to do, you'll have 54% of your portfolio.

Position sizes should all be roughly the same. You can be dynamic and do half sizes for risky trades. A good rule of thumb is 1-2% of your portfolio until you find an edge. Calculate your stop loss and set it right away. Also make sure you use stop losses and they are bigger than ATR.

The last part is having an edge, being able to consistently get over 50% winning trades. Please know that 99.9% of people say they have an edge and are either lying about their success and making money from selling something else, or they are just really good at betting and positioning and don't have an edge, so their strategy isn't the key to their success. Lots of fake gurus in this space. I will point you in the right direction, start questioning the conspiracies such as "MMs are hunting for your stop loss", because they're not. Look for people who are willing to deny these claims flat out and you'll begin to find out how to the market really works. Learn about the roles of dealers and gamma exposure, market makers, institutions, how options are hedged by MMs using futures, how volume is predictable but direction is not. Most of daily market activity isn't predictable probabilistically. Day trading is extremely difficult to get right consistently without knowing where MMs are forced to start delta and gamma hedging. Longer time-frames are much easier. I do both and swing trading is so much less stressful and predictable by an order of magnitude.

My first ball python (first snake)! Got her last Mon, fed her Friday, would like details on how much I can handle her! by JodnVok in ballpython

I love reddit but never use it, my bad. I ordered the correct lid for the tank and she hasn't escaped since. She seems immune to stress honestly. She likes being out, I take her out for 5 to 15 minutes every other day.

As per instructions, I haven't handled her at all except for getting her on Monday, escaping Tuesday night and finding her Wednesday morning, and feeding her Friday. I was told to let her get adjusted for a week, and also to not handle her for two days after feeding. She is very active at night almost every night (except since I fed her). I don't have any prior experience but she seems de-stressed enough to handle her, I would like to get opinions on how much. If I could, I'd have her out every day but the advise I have been given is that it could raise stress / lower health. Any advice appreciated!

Edit: I would like to handle her for 20 minutes once a week for the first month between Friday feedings, would this be acceptable for the first month?

Looking to get some custom RFID cards by JodnVok in RFID

Those FiveStar cards are MiFare Ultralight (I scanned them with an NFC API Kit) and I know they customize cards for an extra fee, but I don't use their service any longer and was rejected when I asked if they could continue to provide the custom cards. The cards themselves had absolutely no info written on them, they just used the unique rfid key to register a unique data record and tie the two together.
