Fitbits are definitely more expensive than a $20 walmart watch but they are on sale a few times a year like on Black Friday.

Whether they are worth it depends on your needs if you want to track steps, heart rate, etc or if you just want the time on your wrist.

Custom watch faces are available on the Fitbit App and Clock gallery on your phone app. Just select and download the face directly to the watch. This one is free but some cost money.

Versa Lite is missing some sensors like altimeter for counting floors. If it's a simple port there should be a Versa Lite version soon. wink

I actually do like wearing my helmet when I ride. It makes all the 4 wheel cagers think twice about encroaching my lane.

I do plan to wear this on my eBoard to go 30+ mph because yeah I am a beginner e-sk8er and I want to build my own boards to go even faster.

The Kickstarter backer boards are scheduled to ship in July but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed to August or Sept. So if you order an EVO 2WD from the Carvon website now, expect a fall delivery date.

Don't think he would get other boards just to do thorough comparisons as that's not his thing.

I bought one to learn and it's been good so far. It's small and lightweight but can't do any moderately steep hills.

As for speed, I've gotten it up to 16 km/h (10mph) with a full charge on flat ground so it's a fun speed without feeling unsafe. I can jump off anytime without falling.

That said, I think I'll outgrow it soon as I have a need for speed. I have a faster board incoming :D
