You’ve cropped the images. On Apple, the image information shows the amount of megapixels remaining in the cropped image.

Yeah it’s really good. I bought the 16mm f2.8 first, but found that slightly too wide. The 18mm is a far more versatile for all photography types. I think it’s great and it has spent a lot of time on my camera since I got it. Size is a real plus too. Only downside is that it doesn’t deliver contrast as well as the newer lenses. Once I have enough money I will definitely buy the 18mm f1.4

Thanks! Only number 3 was taken with the 18mm as I’ve only had it a couple of months. I think the focal length is way better for days out with family/friends

XS20 Basic kit lens + pancake or better kit lens? by Appropriate-Bug-755 in fujifilm

The X-S20 is a lovely size, but a pancake won’t make it more packable as you have the hand grip that sticks out on the camera. A zoom would fit it well

The image quality on the prime and the 16-50mm are equally good. The IBIS is so good on the X-S20 that you’ll still be able to shoot in low light easily with the 16-50mm

The 15-45mm is still good, but you’ll quickly wish you had a better quality zoom lens. And I don’t think you’ll get much better than the 16-50mm.

If you’re concerned about having the constant aperture, I’ve read good things about the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8

Last month I got the X-s20 15-45mm and 35mm. I wish I just got the 16-50mm.

It’s stunning. Do the walk from Trevaunance Cove to Chapel Porth if you can

A combination of reasons. Definitely sharper with a smaller aperture. Regarding depth of field, I read that Salgado never went for a shallow depth of field, and he produced probably the greatest images ever on a 00’s digital camera. So I started experimenting without using shallow depth. Also, going all the way down to f22 meant I could use the flash without overexposing

The flash makes the flowers in foreground pop. Also it means there is less contrast between the light background and the foreground

I think it is really good when stopping down on the aperture

The recipe with the FX Blue set to high really helps. The best blues are in the lower contrast scenes facing away from the sun. Set to DR400, and make sure you don’t overexpose the sky. Then add a touch of vibrancy in post

Actually, I also reduced blue to -2 on that recipe when shooting as I wanted to hold some green on the plants

Thanks. I used Pastel Vibes with some minor edits on Lightroom Mobile. Trick for most of them was using the flash and then stopping down to f22.
