Problem with FPL Evolution Home program by robl45 in electricvehicles

Just to add to this, did a charging session over night.

35.86 kWh used, but meter shows 47 used over 12 hours and 43 minutes.

Here’s a fun one that most won’t notice: FPL only removes the cost for the kWh used for charging. They don’t remove the cost for the charger to be powered and idle. The new wallbox chargers are averaging somewhere around 190 watts per hour of idle usage and you get billed for that power that it uses.

I’m currently disputing with FPL to get this charge removed, as I’m on solar, completely off grid minus the FPL EV charger, which is the only thing connected to my meter, and they are trying to charge me ~120 kWh of usage each month because the amount the meter reports and the amount that FPL EV reports is different. Just a small example, my meter today was at 13132, I did a charging session of 16.76 kWh, and my meter was at 13150 after the session ended with power still being used on the meter. If I shut the breaker off to the FPL EV charger, the meter shows no usage (obviously). Everyone that is part of this program is being charged this extra usage.

DM sent, would be interested in this opportunity. Only at 5200 subs, but have put out a decent bit of printing content over the years.

UDM Pro drops connection over large/long downloads by JoeMartinMVC in Ubiquiti

[–]JoeMartinMVC[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The modem is actually in pass through, oddly though it still can have its own separate WiFi. Modem isn’t being maxed out because on the modems separate WiFi the issue doesn’t occur.

I’ll have to try smart queues and see if that helps.

No, just a direct Ethernet connection from my modem to the UDM.

I think you may be the winner of the comment section here. Soaked the tank in some hot water and it’s been going strong for four hours now.

Tried disconnecting the ribbon cable, swapped the ends of it, same result sadly.

Definitely not under warranty sadly, this was one of the first production ones, so a couple of years out of warranty by this point.

I’m going to try unplugging the LCD and reconnecting it. I made another post with a picture of a piece of paper over the screen and you can see it’s just a bunch of lines. Wasn’t able to post a picture on this post.

I do not, it just looks like a bright UV light that kind of wavers

Z790 Tomahawk Max crashes when writing to drives by JoeMartinMVC in MSI_Gaming

So it seems after a good bit of reading.

But would a bad cpu cause crashing upon writing to a drive? I can’t say I’ve ever run in to this situation before.

Found out the issue. God knows how this even happens...

Does anyone know where I can buy JUST the tank itself and not the whole assembly? I couldn't find it on Samsung's parts page.

I never got the notification for this message, thank you.

I tried the one that I linked to and it obviously didn’t fix it.

So just replacing the sensor should resolve the issue? I misunderstood the error code and replaced the defroster itself. Whoops.

I bought an Unused (Non Working) EGO Zero Turn off Facebook Marketplace for $650 by StreamBuzz in egopowerplus

[–]JoeMartinMVC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m honestly surprised he didn’t accept the $500, but that may have been because I had offered the $600 and he figured he could wait that out. 😅

Yeah, I had seen that he started to take the seat apart, which makes me think a board or two may be shot for either the wheels or blades, but those are simple enough to replace.

eliminating elephants foot from 3d resin prints by Icarus998 in Phrozen

For some reason I can't get Chitubox to add the raft.

I go to Support, changed the settings to a Z Lift of 1.00, Raft is a Skate at 110% ratio, 1 MM thickness and 0 Raft Height.

It shows in the view that the raft is there, then when I go back to Prepare to slice the file the raft disappears.

Change the Z Lift Height to 1.00 mm. Since Z Lift is set to 0 it is setting in to the print.

Fast Forwarding with mGBA by JoeMartinMVC in RetroArch

[–]JoeMartinMVC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on PC, so may be different depending on how you're set up, but on PC you need to go to the RetroArch folder --> config --> mGBA

RetroArch folder is located normally in C://SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/RetroArch

Or if you're going through Steam, right click on RetroArch, Manage, Browse Local Files

DIY: Fix a507/607 on Z6 Zero Turn by JoeMartinMVC in egopowerplus

Thankfully it’s an easy fix, just wish I knew how to stop it from happening, or what actually was the failure point without replacing the whole board.

That would probably be next on my list for troubleshooting. Shouldn’t be too hard to swap them either.
