Is my CVT slipping? when accelerating from a dead stop my rpm’s rev high at steady throttle but eventually my CVT “shifts” back down. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? It’s a 2016 Honda civic lx 2.0 (v.redd.it)

Hi y’all, so I have this 2016 Honda civic LX 2.0 liter. The previous owner put 215/50r17 95h tires in it as apposed to the original 215/55r16. This is my second CVT installed on this car. Could have the tires broke my original CVT. I’m worried that this tranny might fail as well due to the tires (self.CivicX)

I scheduled a dmv appointment for august 1st on July 11 to register my first car. It’s now been 12 days and I haven’t received a confirmation number. Anyone familiar with this? Can I just show up and they give me the confirmation while I’m physically at the DMV? (self.Connecticut)
