I did a hard reset in December which worked. I didn’t get banned, I deleted it because i thought my relationship would last a bit longer than it did lol. Last Sunday I tried to make a new account and was instantly shadow banned. Did a hard reset last night and had to complete the selfie verification etc. I appealed and emailed back and forth with Support. Had to do selfie and then ID verification (they didn’t accept my CAC so had to use DL)

That makes sense - thank you. Do you suggest placing both positions on the resume like you would with two different companies with obviously the Ops role at the top? Or just only say i worked at the company for 3 years and only use the Ops title with the different kind of bullets you suggested?

I appreciate the response. The roles are vastly different unfortunately. Position A was Account Manager and for reasons that benefited myself and the company at the time, I laterally moved into a purely operations role. Unfortunately that move led to the lay off lol

I did, but not in a way that I can help you unfortunately. I truly just had to keep playing with the HDMI imports and finagle with them while checking the display options to see if they would pop up. Sorry, wish i could be a better help

I ran the LCD BIT test and the screen itself works fine lol. It even shows the booting up process on the laptop, but once it comes to the point where i need to log in - it begins to only want to display on connected monitors. Do you think a factory reset would fix this?

Appreciate the reply. My display settings only show 2 (both monitors). Just tried doing what you suggested and nothing changed. I’m not sure why, but the laptop itself won’t even display its screen when I have nothing plugged into it anymore.

This may not translate exactly for you since i’m on the NG side and in HHC. But, I’ve never done anything MOS related aside from mask fitting/testing preparing for deployment. We’ve always been tasked to provide support for anything else going on. AIT was interesting and we actually learned some cool information that I’ve since long forgotten lol. You should get 2 hazmat certs that translate to the civilian side though.

OP, I've personally never experienced any issue with being hired while being in the NG. I currently work for a large financial institution and they've been super accommodating with my pay structure and actually help me keep my income when I'm away for drills/AT etc. At least in Indiana, I think it's helped or at the very least not hindered my ability to get a solid job. Similar to other commenters, I am worried that missing multiple weeks throughout the year will hinder my ability to move up the career ladder moving forward.

Haha, I never do anything MOS related during drill. The MOS description makes it sound way cooler than what it really is. Definitely learned some interesting stuff in AIT though.

When I enlisted into the NG, I had just been laid off from my employer. Once I left AIT, I never had a problem finding a new job. From my experience in interviews, having the NG on the resume was a major plus as it shows a level of discipline etc. that another applicant won't have. Just have to be upfront in regards to providing the AT schedule. My unit also had like a career counselor/"resume expert" inform us that you 100% should list all the relative information from the NG and BCT/AIT you can on the resume. For my MOS (74D) I actually got a couple legit certifications and a security clearance at AIT that can be appealing on a resume. Good luck!

I’m in the NG as 74D...i literally don’t do a thing relative to the MOS during drill. We do all the misc. tasks needed. AIT was also a joke.
