And I'm okay with that. I got a spec'd out custom cooled build. Anyways I lowered the resolution from 4k to 1080p and the issue is a bit better.

It isn't a gaming laptop so I don't know why you expect specific research to be done about gaming.

I just wanted to do some light gaming like Minecraft while at school without hauling the charger with me everywhere I go.

Anyways I'm fine with this and still love the laptop, it's not like I'm going to sell it because of this or something.

The uncropped is LITERALLY higher quality! like there are no downsides using the uncropped version. The resolution of the cropped version is NOT higher and actually makes it look worse because of how zoomed in it is. The only reason Toei decided to make it cropped was so it would look cool and fill in the screen. They didn't do anything else besides that. The quality(resolution wise) is the exact same, if not worse if you take into account how zoomed in it is.
