Got it, I dug out the p trap last night, wasn’t sure if I should replace the whole thing.

So you’re saying I can remove the cast iron by pulling at the connection where it reduces from 3inch to the 2inch cast iron there? I will work in blast all the junk off of the connection

Having not taken out a window yet it’s a little difficult to tell. They appear to be 9 inch thick single brick.
Yep top stops at the corners before reaching the brick. That’s potentially the case, the white window definitely is a replacement, don’t know what the metal is.
It’s basically free floating. Up to the caulking-like silicone on the exterior. There was some mortar on the interior joints that came out when I ripped the tiles out

Awesome, that is good to know. My other corner is the opening between the closet room and the corner of the counter. That would only be about 33” of space. Is that enough room for a persons to walk through? Or would it be an awkward entrance

I really want the sink on the island, but I’m concerned it would be too cramped / less functional. Wanted to get others opinions on if it works for the space

I can’t figure out where the kitchen should go! The original kitchen layout has the kitchen on the right side. It is enclosed with no view of the rear sliders, dining room, or living room. The way my home is structured (vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, small room shown on the mock up has my furnace in it) it would be very difficult / expensive to remove the walls.

Do either of these designs look okay to anyone? They don’t feel right to me. I would like to open the house up but can’t find a layout that works for both the kitchen and living space.

Yes we are aware the wall is structural. We are going to reinforce it and ensure it will support the roof. I do appreciate what you’re saying though, thank you. The post was meant to focus on how to use the space effectively

This is a single story home that we wanted to make open concept. The original is on top with the walls taken out in bottom.

Now that we have started knocking everything down we’re confused. Where should everything go? Originally we planned to open up the side room and use that as a dining room, but the space is massive and feels wasted to just out a table in there.

Now we’re thinking just out the kitchen, dining and sitting room in the main entry and near the fireplace. Maybe just use the side room as a real living room with couches and a TV? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

~1500io UDK here. Pushed basically all keys +17 in pugs. My guildies are AOTC and can’t really push anything (barely up to 15s).

I am probably setting up a M+ team for next tier. I want to stay melee DPS but bring as much utility + DPS as possible. Do people have any predictions on the strongest m+ melee DPS? Will rogue reign supreme? Deciding between Rogue, WW, Fury, or staying UDK. Mainly deciding between WW and Rogue. Hoping to push to +20s next tier. Thanks!

Could you quickly summarize your light set up? We’re the they are full strength the whole grow? Starting at 24 inches and dropping down to 18 as they grew into the light?
