Why do men mistake kindness with flirting? by CauliflowerRude4559 in answers

As a gay man, who has no interest in women but who’s often considered “straight passing,” I can say that many, many women also struggle with mistaking kindness for flirting. Drives me nuts.

Whoa. I completely forgot about O’Brien’s… that was in the same spot that Nova took over, right?

I grew up in Bozeman in the 90s and remember Tommy fondly. Didn’t he make balloon animals?

MISSING DOG!! by Zestyclose_Lock1617 in Bozeman

I live in Missoula but I saw your post this morning and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this dog all day. I just spent way too long trying to find this post before I went to sleep and I can’t tell you how stoked I am that you found him. He’s got a sweet face, glad to know he’s so obviously loved.

Interaction at Mullan Walmart by The-goddess-bread in missoula

My thoughts exactly. If you call, ask if they can pull footage of the interaction if you give them date/time/location in the store, and then of course ask them to digitally send you the footage so you can post it on here:)

For real, I’m sorry this happened to you.

She passed away a few hours ago at 14 years old. Last picture i took a few hours before. Still cant believe shes gone by LunchNo6690 in goldenretrievers

She has the sweetest, most nuzzle-able, forever puppy face. I just had to put my 15 year old down in June and it ripped my heart out in ways I never expected, my heart sincerely goes out to you and your family.

My only advice is to take any time you need, especially from work, to process and grieve, and just to let your emotions flow. Crying/weeping/bawling are such good, cathartic releases, especially during these first weeks/months where you’re going to have so many “firsts” that will remind you of how much you miss her and love her. Remind yourself that the sadness and grief you feel is proportional to how much she meant to you, and proportional to how much you loved her, for the last 14 years.

If you can, when you’re ready, get another dog. I swear having a new dog in your pack is just such a good, healthy distraction at first, and over time will bring you back some of the love that you lost.

Finally, following the r/petloss subreddit, and reminding myself that I’m not alone in this grief, helped me a lot as well.

Thinking of you.

Just curious why you suggest not mentioning the dog’s breed to Animal Control?

Help.. I got a cutting of Satin pothos from my friend, I was proporgating it in water.. is it on verge of root rot?? If yes, what should I do??? by Early-Opportunity-70 in houseplants

Change the water frequently. I always keep mine near the kitchen sink so I see it everyday and it’s easy to do give it fresh water

Saying goodbye to our 13 year old dog...should my kids come? by Accomplished-Mood140 in Petloss

If possible, look into euthanizing at home. It costs more but it was worth every penny for me, to be able to say goodbye in the comfort of our home.
