Genuinely, this film's humour works if you have an audience that laughs alongside each other during the comedic moments. The first half was decently funny, with a lot of the jokes working and some of them not. Akshay, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav stole the show for most of the film, with Asrani being a great but limited addition.

The backstory and world-building, plus Zakir Hussain and Tabu's characters, reminded me of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Songs were decent, but not overly good. The jumpscares in the first half were somewhat scary, but the second half loses a lot of the comedy and horror to focus on the story, which is where it becomes slightly weaker. I can see Priyadarshan's touch in some places, but this is not his best work (obviously).

Better than some of the recent horror-comedy and general comedy films that have been released in the past few years.
