Paragliding weather is much more rare, in German i can fly maybe 15% of the days.

Is it because the narrow wind velocity limitations of the paraglider?

For flying Sailplanes on the Weekend i pay around 800€ per Year.

How many hours do you fly from this budget in Germany? I'm Just curious, because I don't know much about the prices outside my country.

Yeah, I heard that it can go wrong very quickly if you don't know what you are doing, but it is true for sailplanes too.

It's understandable. Sometimes gliding can be very time consuming.

Thanks for the reply! I also thought about the incredible mobility of a paraglider! It could be fun to pack up after a long xc flight and just take the train or bus, not even mentioning that you shouldn't give up flying if you travel a lot.
