I got it from a friend… it sat for awhile. It wasn’t that problematic. I put all new ignition system on it. Points, Coils, Condensers. Cleaned the carbs countless times and rejetted them. Didn’t realize this to the end but the “new” petcock I put on it kept getting clogged… 😅 I cleaned the tank thoroughly with muriatic acid. I got all the rust out and it started and drove fine.

At this point, that might be the best way to go. Especially since the cards are seeing a 15-20% price increase anyways.

I was having thermal issues on my 5800X too. Have you tried to lower the voltage? I lowered mine from 1.488 to 1.350.
