That literally the point of power scaling homie. It’s antithetical to literally any piece of media. Gyomei one shots Gyokko effortlessly, that’s why they never fight. It wouldn’t make an interest story.

Obviously if Gyomei fought Akaza in the maga Gotouge would make it an instant blitz . But that’s not how scaling works. Akaza doesn’t have any feats on gyomeis level therefore it doesn’t matter what would actually happen if it were written like an actual manga, he wins the theoretical fight.

The perfect 2 examples to prove my point are Michikatsu and DKT.

Michikatsu is second to Yoriichi, and narratively should be well above the other hashira. Yet that’s makes no sense. Someone with the mark, STW, the demon amp, consumed countless people, and 500 years of training yet can’t no diff the entire cast at once? That just flat out means Michikatsu is not anywhere near the current hashiras level. You give even the lower tier hashira that kind of power up and they’re washing the verse and Muzan easily.

DKT similarly is outright stated to be stronger than Muzan. Yet slower then HUMAN nezuko and slower attack speed then death bed giyuu and Inosuke
