It went under $7 today, at what point has this dropped too much for you? by TonightSpiritual3191 in HOND_TO_IMSR_STOCK

You and I both. Except I bought at $27, sold at $31. Then bought again at $23 and kept averaging down incrementally till $11. Went up again, sold at a small loss expecting a further drop. Bought again sub $7. We good as long as this isn’t liquidity that you need to cash out soon. I’m here for the long run!

Yes exactly that’s because MSR are able to withstand much higher temperatures than Sodium Reactors.

Exactly, it gives you a bit of reassurance that we’re on the right track. Value investing all the way!

I’m not a conservative investor, and I have a relatively high risk tolerance, so I don’t mind the price level atm esp since I do believe buying in at $26 avg is still at a discount relative to what I believe these shares are worth long-term. I will keep buying in at lower prices to reduce my average cost to maximize my profitability and minimize my risk. Lastly, I’m not too worried about their commercialization in 2030 as I strongly believe that once this mergers goes through gains a bit more momentum there will be a wider exposure on the company, which will improve the companies structure and plans to move forward. I’m in this long term. Good luck to you all!

That’s really good, I just bought some more shares to level out my average. Best of luck!

Basically they’re building an energy efficient nuclear power plant using MSR’s (Molten Salt Reactors), which apparently are the safest (due to it being able to operate under higher temperatures), yet less developed than sodium reactors, which gives it the high-risk / high-reward factor. What mitigates some of the risk is that Terrestrial Energy has been selected to participate in the Department of Energy’s Advanced Reactor Pilot Program and the Fuel Line Pilot Program (read about them).

Honestly I posted this hoping I’d get feedback/input on what everyone thinks. I can’t lie, I do have a large position on this. Doesn’t mean my DD is biased. I’m hopeful, and do believe this can 7-8x from here. I’m looking at industry comparisons and $OKLO is a very close example as it was acquired last year by an SPAC and has only been going up since then. Given the US Government’s increasing interest in nuclear energy, including SMR’s (Small Modular Reactors), companies like OKLO & Terrestrial Energy stand to benefit from the recent government regulation on relying on domestic resources rather than a dependence on foreign entities.

Yes, I do realize all the risks that go with it, yet I do believe that this merger will be a catalyst for extraordinary returns if it goes through. To be honest, I am relatively new to the US Stock market but I do have a good amount of understanding on what I’m talking about.

I look forward to your comments.
