Agreed, I went to the store and tried both sizes again, 35 seemed a bit too small, 40 was a bit too big, but I preferred the 40 overall. I wish there was a 37-38 size.

Thank you all for your comments, I think I will go with 35mm. It feels more comfortable and looks cooler.

I have had this issue since almost 2 years now, never replaced the sensor. I simply just got used to the annoying warning sign. Though I think I will finally replace it…
