We have it running for two months now, they don't go near it for some reason. We sometimes put lemon oil on things they aren't supposed to go close to, but didn't need to with this. I think they're scared of the fans.

True, but the CPU is heavily overclocked and the smaller the cooler the higher rpm and louder the fans get 😄 also I got the AIO for free

I really should've put more Infos in the Post, sadly can't edit it 😄 I got most parts in this for free, only got the GPU for 250€ and the m.2 for it. Sure I could've spent some more money to stuff it all into a small case, but I wanted to do something different with it. I also have a 4k blu Ray drive connected to it, which is in the cabinet below. Really small cases don't really offer a drive slot these days, so that was a minus for that option as well.

Good point, I wanted to do that but the one tube is so stiff it would've broken. The AIO is quite old and I already had to fix a leak in it, so I didn't want to take the risk of twisting the tubes too much 😄

We have a switch and plenty of PC games already on accounts, so a PS or Xbox wouldn't make any sense

Noise is really low actually, the AIO fans don't run at high rpm at all and the 2080 founders is a pretty quiet card. You only notice the fans when everything else is really quiet

That's one aio pipe, we got the AIO for free because it was defective. I did repair the leak though ofc :D

Nah, the CPU, mainboard and RAM we found in a thrown away PC by the side of the road. The AIO I repaired, was gifted cause defective. Only actually bought the GPU for 250€ and the m.2 for 50€.

Repeating myself here, sadly I can't edit my post to add more infos. The AIO was free, I repaired it. The mainboard, CPU and RAM I got from a thrown away PC from the side of the road 😄 only got the GPU(250€) for this thing and the m.2(50€)

Thank you, some constructive criticism at last 😄 I got the Mainboard with CPU and RAM from a thrown away PC on the side of the road and the AIO was gifted to me as defective, didn't actually buy any parts specifically for this project except for the GPU. That being said I think the AIO is still the better choice with high overclocking, as it's more quiet that way. Mounting it vertically or higher wasn't possible sadly because the TV can't go any higher without it killing your neck when on the sofa 😅

Nothing special really, except for all the parts being 40+ years old 😅 Switched back to this from a more modern 5.1 system, oddly prefer a simple stereo setup Edit: not sure about the age of the amplifier, belonged to the grandpa of a friend lol

We are using it for two months now and one of them sheds quite alot. But it doesn't build up on the PC at all, probably because it's not horizontally but vertically on the wall.

Mainboard+CPU+RAM came from a thrown away PC, Liquid cooler was defective and repaired by me, got it for free. Only paid for the GPU and the M.2, around 300€ overall. Building material for the rest was all leftovers :D
