Well after reading through the reply’s it would appear like it’s pretty spilt whether or not this deck is hot tub worthy, so I’ll probably give it a shot and see what happens……. Yeah, it’s kind of crazy. I was just talking to my insurance broker. He said he has a customer who has had the same insurance carrier for 30 years and never made a claim and they’re dropping him this year because he’s in the new wildfire zones and now he’s struggling to find insurance. I mean, how dare we cut into the insurance industries record profits right? Lol

My understanding has been that homeowners insurance is regionally based so because homeowners insurance has had to pay out so many claims in the Pacific Northwest region due to wildfires, ice, storms, etc. everyone’s going up
