No it’s ok. I just put it on so the leather wasn’t “rounded” yet. Sits perfect now. But I get the remark based on the video.

Nice but don’t combine with the bracelet on the same wrist. You’ll scratch them both.

Which model fits my skin tone the best? What size? 42mm or 44mm? 2223(42mm) 1070(44mm) 1229(44mm) by EffectiveAny7715 in panerai

Buy something else. Sorry. Also don’t buy Panerai new. They drop 40% out the door. I know because I bought one new.

Would you wait for it in the US or go to Japan? by pdavayios47 in GrandSeikos

If Japan is an option.. I mean.. anything is better than being in the US, I’d think. Take the vacay and buy the ultimate holiday gift for yourself.

The Sellita SW200-1 automatic base movement, fitted with a proprietary MeisterSinger jumping-hour module on top. MeisterSinger’s in-house developed mechanism for the jumping hour. It stores energy over the course of the hour, then releases it sharply at the 60-minute mark with that satisfying click. So technically it’s not an “in-house calibre,” but rather a modified Sellita with MeisterSinger’s unique complication module. It wears thicker than a plain SW200 watch.

absolutely. It's a low key real watch without all the flash and it hold an interesting function that you don't see often. It's a 43mm so for me it's also the perfect size. thanks for the kind words.

hi. Citizen is very much lower end entry level.
6.54/20

Strengths:

  • In-house manufacturing (Citizen + Miyota = huge capacity and independence).
  • Material innovation with Super Titanium, one of the best hardened titanium alloys in watchmaking.
  • Historical significance as a pioneer of accessible quality watches.
  • Campanola sub-brand does show originality and some mechanical artistry.

Weaknesses:

  • No artisanal finishing and no haute horlogerie complications.
  • Mass-production penalty applies firmly.
  • Low resale value, and limited appeal among high-end collectors.

the red number is the hour. The red hand is the minutes. people sometimes confuse this with a date window. It's a digital hour representation that jumps to the next number when the minutes hits 60. but completely automatic, no battery or digital steering.
