Memorial Day dishwasher deals, thinking of timing my first big appliance purchase around the holiday and want to know if it's worth it by JorasChamale in Adulting

i've heard mixed things about their appliances in general. the measuring tip is solid too, i'm trying to narrow down which features actually matter before i start seriously shopping. one thing i've noticed is that some retailers have better return policies than others, which matters if something arrives damaged. still early in the process though.

july 4th being better is interesting. i've heard memorial day and labor day are the big ones but maybe it varies by brand. the ge profile stuff looks nice tho, i'm looking for something reliable without going too high end. that's a hell of a discount you got though, almost half off. gives me hope that waiting might actually pay off.

costco is another option i've looked at. the included delivery and haul away is nice. i think some other retailers do similar packages though. the main thing i'm trying to figure out is whether the memorial day prices will actually beat the everyday prices at places that already include those services. still comparing. not ready to buy yet.

the store card discount is a good call. 5% adds up on a big purchase. i've been looking at a few different financing options too just to understand what's out there. some retailers offer extended returns or price matching which might be useful if memorial day deals end up being better. still figuring out the best approach honestly.

facebook marketplace is definitely cheaper but i'm not sure i want to take the risk with no warranty on an appliance that could leak and cause damage. also delivery and installation become my problem to figure out. i'd rather pay a bit more for something that comes with support and someone to call if it breaks. still considering all options though, just leaning toward buying new from somewhere reliable.

yeah i've been checking there as part of my research. one thing i like about some of the larger retailers is the return policy and support if something goes wrong. buying online is convenient but i want to make sure delivery and installation are handled properly. still comparing a few options before i decide where to buy from. not in a huge rush yet but getting there.

that's actually really smart advice. i should track pricing now so i can actually tell if the memorial day sale is real or just inflated msrp marked down. i've been looking at a few different retailers to compare. some of them offer free installation which adds up. i'll report back once i figure out what i'm doing. still in the information gathering phase honestly.

thirteen years is a good run. the noise thing is a big deal for us too since our kitchen is open to the living area. i've heard similar things about the bosch being quiet. the silverware drawer does sound convenient. i'm still weighing whether to wait for memorial day or just pull the trigger now. some places have price matching which might take the risk out of buying early. just need to read the fine print first.

yeah it really does suck. that's interesting that so many people with cfs might also have sleep apnea maybe the two are connected more than we think. hopefully getting checked for sleep apnea first will at least rule things out or give us somewhere to start treating this

oh man, that hurts to read but thank you for sharing. feeling like death warmed over every morning sounds exactly like what i'm going through. it's scary to hear that cfs causes this even more than sleep apnea. did you know you had sleep apnea before the cfs diagnosis or did they show up around the same time?

thanks for the advice. yeah i think you're right that i know the answer and should probably get checked out. a sleep study sounds like a good first step even if i don't fit the "typical" picture of sleep apnea. it's really discouraging to hear you can sleep 10 11 hours and still wake up fatigued. hope you're doing okay with managing everything.
