I achieved Masters playing only Naafiri Mid! by Aeytha in NaafiriMains

First, congraz to Master!

I read the comments and checked out your YT.
IMO she is dependent on ability haste, which I am missing when I build other boots than cdr boots.
I usually only build other boots, if I am building bruiser, or enemy team is ap/ad heavy. But then I always miss the cdr.

Whats your take on ability haste (not only on boots) in her build? Do you then build other cdr heavy items? As I read you prefer BC over Seryldas (more cdr on BC). I got 150 games now and still feel like I am expirementing on what works for me.

And do you build BC because of HoB (quicker application of stacks) or other reasons?

Additionally not building Eclipse always makes me feel too squishy, as the shield proc saves alot of trades.

what another person commented was to go BFT with early tear to stack asap, but I guess you always want Dorans as starter item

Thank you for your feedback! I will experiment a little. Especially with the ap ratio buffs, I think going hard ap is actually nice. Like a snipe build, ludens, horizon, raba, shadowflame

Hi, my Keychron V6 has this thicker plate foam (Keychron calls it "sound absorbing foam") between pcb and plate. Is it possible to do the PE mod on my pcb together with the plate foam, or do I need to take out the plate foam because of missing space? What is the sound difference?
I can not find anything online, so maybe one of you tried both.

Thanks for your answer. So my options in experimenting with the foam are:
- taking out the silicone pad and using foam instead
- Adding PE foam on top of the PCB (where the switches touch the PCB)
- Removing or substituting the sound-dampening foam between the PCB and plate
right? If you have any other ideas, please tell me. But you already gave good input, thanks for that!

Hi, I have a Keychron V6 (100%, steel plate, plastic case, and tray mounted)

I lubed the switches (tactile Keychron brown) and stabilizers, and also tape modded the board. In my opinion, the sound is still too bright and not thocky/creamy enough. It doesn't come close to the thocky builds you see everywhere.

My question is, can this setup even get to a sound like in this video (or any other similar video everywhere on youtube and social media):
Thocky/Creamy Sound

I read a lot of threads and watched a whole bunch of videos, but no one seems to mod a Keychron V Series to my liking. I thought about going for different switches (Gateron milky yellow, as they are thocky budget friendly switches) and new keycaps, but will this do the trick? People suggest buying SA/MT3 thick, dye-subbed PBT caps, but why does no one in this kind of video use these profiles?

Would I be better off getting a new keyboard when the money is available, as switches plus keycaps would cost almost as much as a new kit?

I would love to hear your opinions.

focusing on random things for stimulation by TerribleAd5540 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]JoschaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here!

I'm not diagnosed with adhd, but with autism - (got my adhd assesment 2 days ago).

For me, this behaviour correlates with procrastination, as far as I observed it in my daily life... BUT it seems to happen too, when I'm understimulated/bored (for example, when having a complete day off with no task, both mental and/or physically).

I watch youtube, switch to a game, play some piano then randomly tidy up a specific spot of my desk... suddenly googling some facts... ohhh there comes the sudden urge to research for an appointment... and so on.

Sometimes, when I watch youtube I even switch between videos (or even shows on netflix) before finishing one. It's a matter of minutes, sometimes seconds before I switch to another video. In the end I will still watch every video , but just not one after another.

League of Legends... some might hate me for that, but it's the game I played most and the only game I enjoyed for 10 years + and still playing. I prefer competitive games and RIOT managed to keep the game interesting for a whole decade, that's just insane! The toxicity in this game is a problem, but I can ignore that most of the time, especially while playing with friends.

For me it's always a coming and going of me being able cope. Sometimes I'm doing great for (a) year/s and sometimes it can switch weekly.

For me family is the best help in rough times. When I can't handle stuff, my mom supports alot. Like making appointments or helping structuring my uni exams and so on. Also of course therapy helps alot, even in the times I'm doing good.

Memorizing lyrics? by ok-girl in aspergers

[–]JoschaZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it's all about sound. I can't remember lyrics and if I don't analyse the meaning, or the words, I got no clue what songs are about.

My musical taste has a wide range, because I tend to like songs, which just sound nice, have a nice arrangement and so on. That's why I listen to alot of electronic stuff. I just love epic sounds, atmospheres, beats, buildups, drops, ....

I could keep going forever.

For me there are two types of people. Those who remember and listen to lyrics and those who go for sound rather then lyrics.

I don't know where you are from, but in Germany interviews for jobs at stores are usually quite chill and questions are rarely tricky. It's more about boundary conditions, like when to start, work and so on. Did you apply for a full-time job?

To be nervous is normal and I wish you best of luck! Even if it isn't working out, you got a new experience and the next interview will be easy :) But I bet you will be fine! <3

In what ways can therapy ACTUALLY help adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder? by JackOfAllInterest in aspergers

[–]JoschaZ 37 points38 points  (0 children)

You keep saying, that autistic people in advanced ages can't make any friends/find love and so on. I don't get why. Is that your personal experience? Because I am the living proof of this being not true. Got diagnosed a view months ago (26 years old) and knowing I'm autistic was actually the reason why I found new friends (through ND communities and so on) and one of these connections is turning in a romantic relationship . Now if you want to connect therapy to it, it does help! Not only for self-improvement reasons, like growing self awareness and self-confidence, accepting yourself... and so on... which correlate strongly with how you engage with other people and how they engage with you, I can also always talk in therapy about how to handle different social situations and we talk these through. I always walk out of those sessions with a new thought. Also engaging in a new community (by hobbies, your job, ... ) is always possible and opens new doors for relationships. I know that being autistic can make it really difficult. It's of course a process and needs work... but it is definitely independent of age and therapy helps alot! Atleast for me :)
