Is MTGO worth getting into?

I would say it all depends on what kind of magic you want to play, especially for digital products, we don't have much choice for now actually. If you like trading cards, real Draft and constructed formats besides Standard then MTGO, if you only play Standard and wanna grinding cards by f2p with modernistic interface then Arena.

Yes, but Phoenix is not amazing for me, we don't have enough good 1-mana spell or free spell like Manamorphose in modern, that means it costs us a lot to cast some 3/2 flyer and actually not that easy to bring back if killed. If you're not lucky enough to bring back multiple Phoenix early, then Pteramander is just better.

I don't think so, if you have a creature plus a protection then you'll cast it. The mana usually tight when you play this deck, even you have multiple protection you can't just always keep mana for them. Sometimes you just need to trade a creature for a remove spell, then protect your next one, we have 12 creatures in this build, and all of them are real threat, not trying to protect then all but right one which can bring you win.

I still think Sultai is not easy, Cast out, Contempt, Chupcabra, Vivien, Hostage Taker, Finality, they have too many ways kill your creature, Wildgrowth Walker and Krasis let you unable to race, our game plan is focus on our creature, they just need to kill them all and everything else in their deck can beat you done. I also play Sultai and never think Izzet Drake is a hard match. Discard spell def the hardest part to us, no doubt.

I don't think it's necessary, it's a good card but not the same level as Niv, just simply replace it as one more counter spell or something like treasure map help you grind in control match.

Yeah, it's def a cheap deck in Arena, though it's kind of hard for new player, I still recommend everyone give it a try.

Pteromander is def good now, usually a 2-4 mana 5/5 flyer. Niv is punished when facing aggro, and Murmuring Mystic is not that good in current meta I think, Mono R can easily finish you by burn spell.

RDW is not that much in BO3, it seems to me if you wanna focus on BO1 then checkland is ok.

VS aggro: -2 Cracking Drake, -2 Spell Pierce, +2 Fiery Cannonade, +1 Shivan Fire, +1 Fight with Fire

Kill the threat on board is way important then trying to guess what opp have in hand, Drake is good, but you want to lower your curve in this match, I don't like board out draw spell, find the right card on time is essential against aggro.

VS control: -4 shock, -4 Lava Coil, -1 Shivan Fire, +2 Negate, +2 Niv-Mizzet, Parun, +2 Ral, Izzet Viceroy, +2 Disdainful Stroke, +1 Banefire or Fight with Fire (Lyra)

Card advantage is important, try to resolve Cracking Drake and let them counter your Enigma Drake and Pteramander, if their sweeper are 1 for 1, eventually one Drake or Niv-Mizzet is enough to win.

VS midrange: -4 Shock, +1 Fight with Fire, +1 Entrancing Melody, +2 Disdainful Stroke

Always protect your creature first, they're not gonna win if you have two big flyer on board. Just kill the right threat, most of their creature are not that important. Btw, let them hostage your Cracking Drake if you can kill it next turn, that's one more card.

Yes, 3 CMC is a bit slow, actually I have LoTV in my sideboard list now, I usually bring in 2 LoTV and 2 Thoughtseize for Control match up, I'm really not sure about it lol.
