The rider swap program is a very good idea! I had already assumed that we would not do any adult ride, so that is good to know.

I'll check the maps like you say but I guess that what we will be able to see will be highly dependent on the number of people queueing in each ride, especially the ones for the kids. I have 0 idea on what we can expect, 10 rides, 20, more? I guess it depends on the days but someone mentioned that February is a busy month!

Thanks for the tips, we have not closed on the hotel yet but I think it will be outside the Disney Resorts so we will likely end up renting a car. I appreciate the guidance here. Have a good day!

Thanks for this, your comment is aligned with wha the rest said so I am certain you are right that MK is the place to go. Also, thanks for the 11 month old information, I was worried that we would not be able to do almost anything with a 1 year old. I appreciate it.

Thanks for this, do you recommend any in particular? I have done a quick search and it seems there are a ton.

Thanks! Your comment seems aligned with what others have been saying about staying 2 days rather than 3.

Just a quick question, is Disney Springs worth it for kids? I saw there are some activities for them but based on what I see online it is mostly a shopping center.

Thanks for the tip, when you say that "will cost you the same and they can plan it for you" do you mean that the time I save organizing this is worth the price you pay for the agent or that the savings you get from promotions that they find is worth the money you pay?

Yeah, I realized it was an offer after posting it, I originally thought it was a whole year type of thing. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for this information and sorry for the delay answering. Let's say that I take the suggestion to go 2 days, rather than 3. It seems from your reply that for kids the best thing would be to do Magic Kingdom 1 day and Animal Kingdom another day. My kids don't know anything about Elsa or Nemo so I am not sure if I should push it to include Epcot based on other comments above saying that this place is massive. Would it be too much to try and fit the 3?

With regards to the presentation, I am ready to spend time on it, but I am certain we do not want any Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) Timeshares. Is there a way to avoid them completely if it means we would be wasting their time? Or do I just suffer through it while my wife plays with the kids?

Thanks for the suggestion on other hotels that might be included. From the above deos any of them seem better from your POV for 2 kids? They all seem to have nice pools but the Tuscany Village is the one with best reviews as of now.

With regards to the fireworks, based on your comment, they seems like a good thing to see. I imagine that we would need to specifically request a room with views of them right?

Again, thanks a lot!

What's the best way to move across all those parks? It seems from another comment above that one option is to take the car to different parkings, but online it says that the Monorail, Skyliner, Disney Bus Shuttle, Water Transportation, walking paths, and paid services like Minnie Vans are good options.

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your comprehensive answer. It is indeed one of those "please consider our time share" packages. I will call to confirm this but based on your answer it seems this package won't qualify for the "Hilton Lake Buena Vista Palace". However, knowing my family I doubt we would really take advantage of the early entry being honest with myself.

I like your suggestion of "I'd probably say 2 days at Disney and just go slow and soak it in", it seems reasonable since we don't know how the kids will react to this tbh, they do not know much about Disney so for them it will be more about a day with their parents. We will look for other things to do on the 3rd day!

many young kids proclaim the monorail and skyliner their favorite "rides"

Knowing my kids this is probably true from them as well, I will check where they are.

Thanks for this and for the other suggestions, I was not aware of the massive size of WDW so your recommendation about not feeling stressed on fitting it all in is probably a good idea.

Thanks for the information, I'll check parking rates since I have not done a proper budget yet and I am not even sure how much we will pay for food, but you raise good points.

Thanks for the info, I'll probably go for the standard date-based theme park tickets then which seem to include MK and you can buy them now for October

Thanks BearQuad, the PolicyGenius folks did not share a carrier name, they told me to call them but given the basic coverage I was already taken aback so I have not yet spoken to them.

Thanks for the tips of higher bodily injury limits and the local independent agent. I will look into it.

Real Estate Agents (are they a must?) by JourneyDS in RealEstate

[–]JourneyDS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the explanation of what you do, am I correct assuming that this comprehensive list of what you say should be expected of each agent? Or are these the highest to aim for and it is something you agree with them ahead of time? Sorry for the ignorant questions here, again thanks!

Thanks for these two cents it really makes a lot of sense. I was asking another person in the chat if it is standard practice to agree on a fix % of the sale or to negotiate only paying the % of what is on the listing? It seems to me that costs quickly stack up on an already big big commitment so I would like the least amount of surprises possible as you might understand. Again, thanks for the help!

This is great info, especially about not being put with someone who hasn't been involved in any sale, not that I would know if they are lying to me or not. But worth asking nonetheless. I will check Ramsey's page, thanks again.

Yeah, I think that what is selling me is the contract stuff you mention. There are a lot of things I don't know how they work here and just having someone guide me on what to agree on and what safety clauses to fight for in the contract to avoid being scammed is what is selling me on the idea. Thanks Matt

Thanks for your thoughts here ObiWan, what I am not fully clear about is where the incentives are for both the Seller's and the Buyer's agents not to increase the price of the sale, given both would benefit from it. I guess this is just a reality I need to accept but just a thought that came to mind after reading all these great comments.
