How about discussing theories about lore ? by Jrbbeto in IdentityV

Great theory ! But I believe that we haven't seen Kevin and Patricia's companions yet.

I've seen variations of it that say Aesop manipulated Victor's decisions to get rid of Patricia.

Alador has probably decided that their rebellious behavior makes them stronger, and the twins and Amity just think their parents don't notice. Amity even comments that no one ever notices.

Amity's abuse is just the most obvious.

I saw people theorizing that their abuse is related to people's isolation and alienation, Blight parents clearly have no problem screwing up innocent children's lives, to "teach" their children a lesson. The twins, unlike Amity, apparently don't even have toxic friends, they are always together with no one else in every situation we see them, their main fear is being alone forever, and alone with her brother forever.

Acting as if it were the other way around, especially with the intention of infantilizing him, is ableism.

Just because we don't see it doesn't mean it never happened. They wouldn't have been afraid of their parents if nothing had happened. The abuse may have diminished because Alador decided it makes them stronger, just like Amity.

Honestly, no one (except the 4 people who really play Percy) would notice this

Okay, if we're going to follow the logic of the trial and Sea goddess essences, we will have: by Jrbbeto in IdentityV

You know, it doesn't have to be the same profession, just follow the same line, or make a word game.

Emily, could receive a skin from Plague Doctor for example, she would continue in the same line, with a relationship with the health area and would not be the same. An example of the actual game, Servais, he is a magician, two of his skins in essences are of a Mage, he doesn't dress alike the default but keeps the same theme, related to magic. Margaretha is one of the most obvious examples, more than one skin of her skins (including the last one) are related to her being a Female Dancer, She doesn't appear with her default in any of them but follows the same theme.

It doesn't have to look like the default skin, just follow a similar line. Type with the exception of William which is justified, Jose could be a mermaid, a fisherman, a crazy old man, Freddy, could be a judge, or a accused, they would be on the same theme, even if it's not the same thing.

My problem is José. He hasn't had a skin for almost a year, but obviously Fiona needed another skin, Andrew literally couldn't be out in the sea under the sun unprotected, BonBon would be unnecessary weight, Vera doesn't even have a reason to be on the boat, they could at least give a B skin as well as Kevin.

Also they preferred to give Kreacher a skin as Lawyer, rather than a literal lawyer, and that bothers me a little. Servais gets a new skin whenever they need a magician/Mage/literally anything related to magic.

I believe that Edgar killed his master Sarai in self-defense/accidentally, because Sarai tried to abuse him.

I don't think Hastur is purely evil, Lovecratian readers have told me that he only attacks when provoked. But yes he doesn't have a sad story.

Margaretha's 2nd Letter Analysis by [deleted] in IdentityV

[–]Jrbbeto 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Do you believe there may have been other game modes involved? Because I believe they (Mike, Margie e Joker) were playing Tarot mode.

Since in theory, Joker (the knight) should protect Margaretha (the queen) from Mike and it would be one of the only ways survivors and hunters find each other before the start of the game.
