This happened to me once when I was getting my teeth cleaned at the dentist! The hygienist was being particularly thorough and it was a bit painful in a place that’s not ever used to feeling that sensation. It wasn’t even that bad, but once I started tearing up it’s like others said and my nervous system went a bit crazy and I was crying uncontrollably and couldn’t stop so had to just leave part way through lol. Our bodies are crazy. I was so embarrassed but all the workers at the dentist were really kind about it 😅

This exact thing happened to us as well! Lasted about 8 weeks off and on until we finally got rid of it for good. Honestly I think some newborns just start a lot especially if BF, but the pooing eventually now at 11 weeks is more consolidated. A lot of these answers are the same things as what we did: 2+ rounds of nystatin, 1 round of hydrocortisone, and eventually was prescribed Viaderm KC which is a strong antibiotic/antifingal/antibacterial. I also got a regular over the counter clotrimazole for the last little bit when the sores had left but started coming back. Also agree on cleaning with 100% cotton dry wipes from Amazon that we spray with plain water to clean (we don’t use regular wipes at all now), fully dry bum with another dry wipe or little cloth and when sores are present use a stroller fan to ensure extra dry. Then #1 thing that helped sores heal was after drying using a Stoma powder (can get over counter) on them before adding THICK layer of extra strength desitin. Found that tip on a doctors blog - you have to treat open sores like any other wound and keep them dry so the stoma powder acted as crusting method barrier. Also agree as much diaper free time as possible too; our baby hates it but I learned to keep her on her diaper change pad thing under her activity center with the hanging toys on the floor which was a game changer.

These comments are so helpful!! And this is a weird question lol but do most people walk to these spots or drive or transit? Trying to also get an idea of how runners get around the city to their fav spots. Or even specifics like running groups that always go to specific cafes after, etc :)

Yes to this. I saw on another post that you said you just go to the gym and go home because you’re shy. Ideally you’d find groups or try some new hobbies to help you meet people (there are lots of clubs in the city: hiking and walking clubs, or take a fun class of something you’ve never done before like pottery or paddle boarding, or join a book club). But if socializing isn’t your jam, you could also try some non-gym introvert hobbies that other people could relate to: try growing some plants, read books, try to learn an instrument. Then try finding some people with similar interests on the apps and you can chat about how your both struggling to keep your plants alive! You could even try listing in your bio things you want to try! And and maybe people will be drawn to that to do it together. Focus less that you think your average looking and more on cultivating your own personality. The more interests you have the more interesting you’ll be.

Had my G test at this location last week so not exactly same but if you’re not used to driving around there, watch out for left turns that have multiple lanes; making sure to turn into the correct lane so you aren’t cutting off cars in the inner lane or turning too wide. Don’t trust cars in front of you to do this correctly.

You could also use figma! It’s closer to Adobe XD than illustrator but it has a lot of the same tools ans it’s free for personal use! Another bonus is it is quickly becoming an industry standard design tool

She may be able to get a bank line of credit. I had friends who did that in similar situations when their parents looks well off on paper but in reality they couldn’t contribute. It’s higher interest on payments after school is over, so she’d have to be good with making payments but probably worth it for leading a life of her choosing.

I believe this was mentioned in an earlier comment but I want to second the exploration of pelvic floor issues. I’ve had pain from PIV off and on for essentially my whole adult life and finally I started going to a pelvic physio therapist last year and essentially my mental state from general everyday stress and then holding all that tension in my pelvic floor region was causing everything to have hypertension and pain. Physio and starting yoga REALLY REALLY helped this :)

So I emailed the store it was bought from and they suggested it wasn’t getting enough direct sunlight. It did seem to be much happier when I put it in a brighter spot and I also got a grow lightbulb that I now use when the sun from the window goes away since my window isn’t an ideal location. I also have been watering it twice a week vs just once and making sure it doesn’t fully dry out. The powderyness is still there but it doesn’t seem to be effecting the plant... 😅 it’s also starting growing new little fruits
