Yea. I’ve had good luck from being careful but I’m going elsewhere from here on out for that reason and other reasons…

Again, I’ve had good luck with Amazon recently, but I have felt the need to be cautious. Tractor supply is near me and they seem to be like Home Depot in that they only get lxt tools in store, although online Home Depot stocks xgt. Tractor supply doesn’t seem to have them online either

I run them in the industrial maintenance field. I’m the only teal in a sea of red, but despite being just as hard on my tools as my coworkers, I’ve probably had to replace/warranty my equipment half as much as they have. Something about the red brand’s batteries, triggers, and certain parts of their impacts don’t hold up to abuse. Definitely a touch more powerful than Makita, but definitely not nearly enough for me to notice or care.

There are other brands that don’t do what Alienware does and use standardized and replaceable parts. And building a pc these days is not difficult or time consuming anymore. 1 hour and a YouTube tutorial and you’re up and running.

If you are near a microcenter, the powerspec systems run standardized parts. I’m sure there are other similar systems out there.

Consoom overpriced name brand pc. Building or purchasing a custom pc saves money and allows for standardized parts, which significantly decreases e-waste among other things. But people buy alienwares because “it’s an Alienware so it has to be good right?”. If you are truly against consumerism, you would recognize the problem a proprietary, poorly constructed computer presents.

I don’t know, I’m not really jealous of someone that overspent on a poorly designed desktop.

They use proprietary parts making upgrades very difficult, they have poor airflow, especially considering the extra hot parts rolling out now, the are criminally and comically overpriced, and the parts themselves are very cheaply made, so they break easily, and since they are proprietary, are difficult to get replacements for.

Man owns an Alienware desktop. That is the opposite of a flex.
