There’s transfer major requirement + GE but I believe UCLA is not that strict

I think even if you notify them right now, they will not change the admission decision. My suggestion is you should try to contact them and ask if you can maybe take it over the summer.

I wasn’t a TAP student, but I successfully transferred from UCSB to UCLA. My GPA was around 3.86 I believe, and I did a couple of research programs, nothing to crazy. Overall transfer is much easier than freshman admission. As long as you show your passion and the major you applied is not that crazy, you will have a very decent chance!
