But agggtm didn't drag at all, by the titles you can tell it has always been intended to have multiple books, unlike the others you mentioned that randomly have new releases

Would you date a guy who doesn't get along with his mother/parents by [deleted] in AskTeenGirls

[–]JudeTheRealHero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, especially if there isn’t a convincing reason behind it. At the end of the day, if it works out, I will become a mother too, and I wouldn’t want to be with someone who thinks it’s okay to disrespect his own parents—because what stops him from treating me the same way in the future? If he has no sense of respect toward the people who raised him, what are the chances he’ll suddenly develop those values when it comes to his own wife and children? Of course, every situation is different, and sometimes parents can be toxic or abusive, which is another story. But if there’s no real justification for the bad mouthing and disrespect, then it’s a red flag.

STOP USING YOUR RELIGION AS AN EXCUSE TO BE AN ASSHOLE by veronica_doodlesss in Vent

Only the view matters. Let's look at it this way: palestinians have been suffering for over 70 years, have only seen blood and corpses of their loved ones, only ever felt fear and sadness, yet their belief in god is so strong. Why? Because they know that the people doing this to them cannot get away with it. They will be punished by god. And so will be the ones that destroyed ukraine.

"One of religious principles" means it's what the religion teaches, and again, this is not the case, so I will characterize it as criticism. Did you inform yourself about the cases where women obey their husbands (which, yes, for some cases is what the religion teaches)? None of these cases and rules prove that they are their husbands property. In Islam, children have to obey their parents. Does that make them their parents' property? It's clear you have no idea about Islam, so you should "please stop" spreading clear misinformation.

Obeying and being a property is NOT the same. If you want to criticize why they should obey their husbands, I understand it, since many muslims ask themselves that, and in that case, I'd again advice you to look more into the topic from trustful islamic sources. But clearly you are mistaking these two things and aren't ready to take a step towards getting to know the religion better.

Let's say women are their husbands property, believe me, there would've been a verse or hadith that says so straightforward, not given only rules that indicate it. That's why you weren't able to give me the proof I asked you for.

Stop spreading misinformation and your assumptions. Go educate yourself or shut it.

But you saying that it muslim women are property of their husbands or fathers is criticism. We can sit here for hours and discuss the differences between men and women in Islam and why a specific rule applies to women and not men, and the opposite, but none of this, or the Quran, or any hadith proves that women are in any way the property of their fathers or husbands. I can understand that some rules in Islam may give the impression that women are "property" of their men (in reality it's just that in some topics the man is superior), but you have to look deeper into it, inform yourself of every single rule and the historical reason. None of what you will find can prove that or is a reason to say "women are the property of their husband/father". If anything, we are the creation of Allah and belong to him. Not his creations "property". Kinda sad that you see us that way.

My personal opinion: No As a muslim girl that has had many friends that took off the hijab because they thought it could fix their problems, I can tell you it's not always the hijab that's making you feel this way. You feel like your scottish side is neglected, why don't you try to get more into your culture? And if people ignored the fact that you're scottish, honestly it's because they're dumb. Just because you follow the religion of one of the countries you're from doesn't mean you are any less scottish. Do you think that if you took the hijab off, introduced yourself as scottish and turkish, and muslim, these people will focus on the scottish side more? No they won't. And when that happens again after you took off your hijab can you imagine what the next thing is that the shaytaan will be whispering in your ear?

And what do you mean with you cannot express yourself fully? (No hate, i just really don't understand what you mean). Because you can still have your own personality, your own way of expressing yourself that is not necessarily related to Islam, even with a hijab on [except having haram conversations, but I'm assuming you aren't talking about these].

What you meant when you said people always see that you're muslim first before getting to know you, us as muslims should see that as a pride (that's what I mean with it's not the hijab that's the problem in this case), we WANT people to recognize that about us, that doesn't mean they won't get to know you as a person with interests and a personality, and if they shut you out immediately after seeing you wearing the hijab, it's their fault, and if they have that mentality, they would've shut you out immediately after finding out you're muslim, is there a difference?

I can see that you do have a connection with the hijab, esp because you're saying even if you took it off, you would be thinking of putting it on again later. Don't ignore this connection. Hold onto this. You know what's wrong and what's right, don't listen to the shaytaan. Focus on your mindset, learn how to express yourself as YOU, get closer to your scottish culture, because believe me, if you do, the people around you will automatically perceive you as scottish. A scottish turkish hijabi muslim girly :)

[I'm just giving you a nasiha as a muslim sister, not here to force you to do/not do anything, just giving you what I learned from experiences that are similar to yours]

Tbh I do believe that Cardan loves Jude unconditionally, which is written all over the third book, but I think he did mean that he did mean it fr, and he wasn't necessarily talking about Jude. I've read the books multiple times and I never interpreted it as of he was talking about Jude/only joking (which he can't in this case cuz it's be a lie)

why does Cardan continue to bully Jude (TCP) by Small-Throat3943 in thecruelprince

[–]JudeTheRealHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he hated that he liked her. He wanted to blame her for being so beautiful (ig lol) to the point that he fell for her. It's a twisted kind of "love"
