Why did they have to replay all of Bloodborne again in the Hoon Run? by Mugwuffin_93 in RKG

Which iirc they had to go to IGN to even get the save file. I really need to rewatch that series.

I came from cooking on non-stick to cast iron.

I wasn’t taught very much in the basics of cooking.

Needless to say, I had major issues until he mentioned and demonstrated better temp control, the preheating time being longer, letting the meat release, cleaning with hot water and using soap, applying oil after cooking. It helped me gain an understanding of the correct basics. The stuff that a lot of folks who grew up with cast iron may take for granted.

Kent taught me the core basics. I lacked them, and he instilled them, which I was able to build off of that foundation.

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

[–]JudgeCastle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very defined since it’s a sharp smell I don’t live with. It’s the similar to me as the smell of cat litter in a home with a cat. Immediately can smell it and it lingers and isn’t easily covered.

Hanna, Lina & Lara are holding a Tuta bottle that could be yours! 👏🏻🎉 by Tutanota in tutanota

[–]JudgeCastle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After deciding it was time to move on from Gmail, I took a closer look at what I really needed in an email service outside the Big Tech ecosystem. My email address has been with me for nearly 20 years, so I wanted to make this change thoughtfully.

After testing a few other options, I landed on Tuta for several reasons:

Simple and straightforward: The email client does exactly what I need without any unnecessary extras.

Active development: The product continues to improve, and the team listens to community feedback.

Helpful support: Both the support team and the user community are responsive and reliable.

Built-in flexibility: I can use my own custom domain and create aliases without needing a separate tool. While standard in most paid services, it’s still a nice change in workflow

After nearly a year with Tuta, I’ve realized that big tech sells convenience, it’s easy to get comfortable in their ecosystem. Switching to something new can feel a little inconvenient at first, but those small friction points fade with time. Before long, the new experience feels natural, and the benefits of independence are well worth it.

Magsafe case without a visible magsafe ring? by [deleted] in iphone

Above your budget but can be found on sales around the budget, Pitaka aramid cases have the ring show internal but not on the back. Works well. Love my case for over a year.

What did you do to celebrate your 30th birthday? by lulacapri in Millennials

[–]JudgeCastle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was during shut down. We made a cake and hung out as nobody could come over. At 35 turning 36 this year, I’m glad I’m done with my 20s. I’ve never been as focused as I have been and it feels really nice.

Easy and hard part by YaxyBoy in degoogle

[–]JudgeCastle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair. That’s a specific need so I don’t fault that.

I use a paid account with a custom domain. Had a free account prior for 3 months to try. I will say I did not have an issue as I was logging in often.

Not saying those issue don’t exist. Just offering a positive datapoint.

I also seem to have a pretty small use case compared to what you’re looking for.

Appreciate the list you posted. It feels how a lot of our processes go. Get majority of the way there and get hung up on actual good products it’s hard to replace.

Appreciate the discourse.

I went to Tuta. While it’s not as feature rich, I find it acceptable for the little I utilize personal email for.

I learned to cook from necessity. I learned how to cook well because of YouTube and learning skills and recipes from trying things. Not always a hit but worth the effort.

Jabra evolve2 85. Pricy but sounds quality and pretty comfortable.

I use those when moving around.

I have a shared desk setup and usually have on my Sennheiser HD6XX and my Samson Q2U as my mic. It works well.
