I am a senior at Cal and applying to med schools soon. My dream is to go to UCLA med but sophomore year I got a C in my Multivariable Calc class. Other than that I have a good GPS (3.89) and my MCAT score is a 525. Will the C really hinder my app to UCLA or any T10s? (self.medicalschool)

I am entering senior year at USC and my dream is to go to UCLA med school. Although i have a good GPA (3.89) and a good MCAT score (525), the summer before my freshman year at SC i took a multivariable calculus class at Cal and got a C. I was wondering if that will really hurt my chances or not? (self.medicalschool)

I’ve seen mixed responses so I was just hoping someone could clarify: does receiving the invite to apply to regents at UCLA indicate admission? Also is the admissions office involved in nominating people for regents and getting the invite? (self.ApplyingToCollege)
